Click, drag, and drop into gimp

depends on what you mean by png
if you mean make it into a png file then just save it as .png

if you want to make your image into a transparent png then...
first select your imagine with the lasso tool (I recommend doing it zoomed in with the polygon lasso tool to get into the details) or the magic wand (not recommended)
then go to inverse selection
delete
you have transparent png

Like the text is a cutout of an image.

Type whatever you want to type, then:
Alpha to selection>paste an image into the text
Then anchor it :3

I suggest you make a new file for your pngs
You're probably going to download tons of them in the future
And mixing them with any other files would be messy and confusing

you have to create you text, then alpha to selection, create a new layer and paste your image.
i think it tells you how to on the front page.

i use gimp.

and as for your image, it looks pretty good.
