These are trufacts. I used to work at Goodwill. I finally had enough when I opened a bag of clothes and a horde of live cockroaches fell out. I quit that day.
The other thing that made me super emo was how the Goodwill I worked at just- threw away all the things. Several times I would poke my head through the book-bin and the toy-bin of things that were to be trashed and pulled s**t out. Antique books from the 1700's and s**t and old 80's MLP big brother ponies and vintage fisher-price little people. For ******** sake, people pay a lot for that s**t!
I've had bugs too omg its the worest
I'm so lucky for the good will I work at had thier s**t together and we don't throw a lot a way
But you've seen the s**t we get sometimes...its like "this is just ******** trash"
Exactly!
I just- it made me mad cause like- the blankets our Goodwill threw away could have easily been donated to the local animal shelter.
And there's no NO no NONONONO excuse for throwing away ye olde books. I mean, you can LOOK at them and say HEY, THIS LOOKS PRETTY ******** OLD, LET'S NOT THROW IT AWAY. The most annoying part is after I 'rescued' the things from the destroy/dump bins, they would be put in the antiques counter section place and I wouldn't even get so much as a thank-you.
My favorite was when I managed to get an American Girl doll dress for 8 dollars. I did not mention how much they were getting ripped off >.>
also, my Goodwill had this s**t policy where if we saw something in the trash/dump bin and wanted to buy it, we had to take it to a manager and get them to price it, then it had to sit out in the store for 24 hours before we could buy it. Yeah, no, fuuuuck daaaaat, I just had my mom buy it for me when she would pick me up from work. No one could say anything about it then.
Also, the ******** woman who kept trying to hook me up with the mentally handicapped janitor. Like, no. What part of I'M NOT LOOKING TO DATE ANYONE EVER do you not understand?
