I meant to post this the other day, but my laptop is "in the shop" and my dad's has been on the fritz. Thankfully I was able to get this post saved so I could post it. I'm currently waiting on my laptop to finish being repaired.
Ok guys. Update on this thread and the contests I'm running:
I have had an extremely rough week. I basically cried all day yesterday, and I've been crying off and on since I woke up earlier. In this moment, my life is a mess. I'm still holding myself together though. I am starting therapy Monday.
With that being said, I will still be reviewing the stories you guys sent in to me and the prizes WILL STILL BE SENT OUT TO THE WINNERS. It will just take a couple of weeks for me to get the time to sit down and read all of your beautiful stories! I can't wait to see some of your beautiful memories from your adventures on Gaia!
I WILL be continuing this thread, and future contests are still in planning stages. Once I finish the story contest and the Schwarz Halo RNG contest have ended, the thread will be on hold as far as contests.
Those of you who have stayed and chatted and made rolls for that cool little sparkly black halo, mad props for keeping my thread alive.

I sincerely apologize for leaving everyone in the dark about the memories contest! I'm still planning on giving out the prizes and reading y'all's wonderful entries!
I've still been experiencing many personal & family issues. I moved out of my Dad's and am living with my mom in her new house. I've also been seeing the psychiatrist and therapist and I'm currently taking both social anxiety/anti-depressant medication and am trying to get back on my ADD medication.
Also, a couple of weeks ago, I had to have my mom rushed to the hospital by ambulance while we were shopping because she had a bout of Diverticulitis and was in extremely bad shape. She was in the hospital for a week and I stayed with her every day until the last because I had to sleep on a cot (AKA body pain device).
Also I'm currently trying to focus on getting this serving job down the street from where I live.
There are also a lot of other family issues going on in my household at the moment, so things have been very stressful for me.
Please don't worry! I'll have prizes sent out in the next couple of months! Again, I do deeply apologize for leaving y'all in the dark! I hope y'all can understand!

What you have done is good even if this is Gaia, a virtual world. It made a lot of people smile and make their experience in Gaia much more memorable and I thank you for that. I hope there is someone out there, doing the same to you.
