I think you may be thinking of Venice; vehicles are allowed in Amsterdam, but it's not suggested that you try. XD Bikes and water taxis are more common.

Amsterdam, I believe, is called 'the Venice of the North' because of the similarities between the two cities.

It is probably Venice---but ahhhh water taxis! Oh man that must be sweet.

Amsterdamn looks great! It must be seriously chilly, though.

The poll is outdated now. X3 I was initially trying to sort out which of the two cities I should visit with my extra time in Europe, but it turns out that I have enough time for both. XD

I find all of your temperature braves chilly as my every comical notion of the North Pole.
It barely get's 24 degrees in the big C if we're lucky! xd
