I tend to lurk and hang out in a few threads. Used to be glued to Gaia but it's changed a lot.

Yes it did sad I never thought I would see the day when they are going to shut down zomg.

Yes, it took everyone by surprise when things started changing. Gaia got a new CEO, and the idea was that websites have a 10-year lifetime, so all these changes started after the 10-year anniversary. When they took zOMG down, they said there was a problem where the game could be hacked. All the Flash developers had been let go by then, so there was no one to fix it, had they wanted to.
