I've been around since '05, but I still don't get what the 14/48 bumps are. They aren't really in effect anymore since post earning is a bit higher?

14/48 Bumps are really just a myth. They never really earned anyone extra gold.
Back when I first started the charity (this is a revival), there were a LOT of people copy/pasting a really, really long message into various forums so as to "earn" the 14/48g.

Actually, a LOT of what you see on the front page is basically an update of what my old thread used to look like (sans images, but I'll get to those eventually.) I debated about keeping that rule there, and figured I'd keep it. Better to be safe than sorry, you know?
