I N T R O D U C T I O N
a pleasure to meet you

You stumble upon a small, homely looking shop with two wide windows and a wooden door with a small window on it.
At first glance it looks like a café of some sort, but if you look a bit more closely, you'll notice the the shop has only two tables- one surrounded by two armchairs and a little worn out couch, and the other stands between a potted plant and a lamp, it has a sign "Selling" placed upon it.
While you peer inside, you soon notice you're being stared back at by a pair of yellow eyes. A fairly small critter is blinking back at you, two long tails swaying from side to side.

F A Q
understood?

Q: I want a Temeo, can you give me one?
A: Oh, I'd love to. But to be fair, you must wait for another chance to buy it just like others.

Q: Do you do customs?

A: Nowadays I do. Cosplays are RL currency bribes.

Q: Can I use your art?

A: Only if you credit me, otherwise it's considered theft.

Q: How many Temeos can one person own?
A: I've taken out the limitation of Temeo-owning. The more the merrier, right! Be sure to pay them equal attention, though, Temeos can get really sulky if you ignore them.

Q: How many Temeos can I buy at once?
A: In a Flatsale, one. Only one, even if you were going to buy one for a friend and would want one yourself. If there are auctions for two or more Temeos, you can bid for as many as you want.

Q: Can I use a proxy?
A: Sure, as long as they remember to point out that they're proxying for you. If you have a proxy for an auction, be sure to agree on the highest bid you're willing to go.

Q: I want to use some graphics for my Temeo's Journal, may I?
A: Sure, go ahead. As long as you remember to credit Karo for them, though. Otherwise I'll get mad at you and you face greylisting.

What are they?
Temeos are a domesticated canine-esque species with long, sensitive ears and twin tufted tails.
They are born in liquid and need to be incubated in order for the liquid to begin to vaporize and re-materialize in solid form.

Regular Temeos are not Roleplay Required.

User Image
First Stage
The Bottle
Duration: 1-2 weeks

Your new Temeo is nothing but liquid-- or are they? The opaque liquid seems conscious of its surroundings and reacts to sounds, light, movement and the like by bubbling, popping, hissing or jostling about in its container. The liquid is observant, albeit can't necessarily see. When your Temeo is ready to come out the liquid will vaporize, forcing the cork open.

User Image
The Second Stage
The Kit
Duration: 2-4 weeks

So your new friend broke free from their container in the form of misty vapor and re-materialized itself into a fluffy, clumsy little critter. Most kits are able to speak, or pick up speech shortly after vaporizing, depending on their level of awareness during their time in the bottle.
You just try to keep them from getting in trouble. I dare you to try.

User Image
The Third Stage
The Adult
Duration: Permanent, unless anthropomorphised after 30 days

Your kit has matured, learned new stuff, perhaps found puppy love-- all preparing for the life of an adult Temeo. It's time to find love, hate, happiness, friendship, anger, sadness, joy.. and all that there is!
Adult Temeos no longer age and can become mates. An adult Temeo exceeding 30 days of age can be turned into an anthro-Temeo with Anthro Vial from the item shop.

User Image

User Image
The First Stage
The Flask
2 weeks

Unborn Mountain Temeos start off as liquid, just like your regular Temeo, but their container is a thick flask made of handmade glass. The flask is very durable and can usually handle clinking against rocks and the sort, but not to excess. The liquid will mostly communicate through pops and hisses before vaporizing.

User Image
The Second Stage
The Kit
2 weeks

Kits are endlessly full of energy. Their fur is thick and they're sturdy built to deal with their mountaineous habitats. They're stronger than your average domesticated Temeo kits and often also a bit more headstrong. Curious as ever, you just try to keep these rascals out off trouble.

User Image
The Third Stage
The Adult
forever

Adult Mountain Temeos should slowly grow into maturity. Their fur is very thick and they're unlikely to enjoy time spent indoors, as they are better adapted to slightly chillier and windier weather conditions. Mountain Temeos are more likely to be defiant of their caretakers as opposed to their domesticated kin. Mountain Temeo cannot be turned to anthro at this time.

User Image
The First Stage
The Bottle
Duration: 1-2 weeks

This bottle is protected from heat and sun with a translucent cloth! Desert Temeo liquid is very resilient against dry heat, but will protest if you put it in a cold drafty place. Maybe a windowsill would appease this chill-averse bottle?

User Image
The Second Stage
Kit
Duration: 2-4 weeks

Desert Temeo kits are very energetic, not to mention fast. At least after they get more accustomed to their comically long and slender stilts legs. They prefer hot weather and will seek the comfort and warmth of sun wherever they are. Cold can make them ill.

User Image
The Third Stage
Adult
Duration: forever

Desert Temeo adults grow up to be quite elegant and slender. They are tallest and fastest of the domestic Temeo breeds, but are risk averse and prefer to avoid dense underbrush or rocky terrain. Desert Temeo generally enjoy lounging. Desert Temeo cannot be turned into anthro at this time.

Upon discovering a sleeping gene in the Temeo, Karo set to work a way to see what it does. Hours and hours of painstaking experimenting, she finally found a formula that'd stimulate the gene and prompt a magnificent transformation

The Fourth Stage can only be achieved by buying an Anthro Vial at the item shop.
The Anthro Vial is only available to Adult Regular Temeos over 30 days old.
The Anthro stage cannot be undone.
Adult Temeo results in adult anthro.

Anthros are able to breed only once, unless they have already produced a total of three litters in their quad stage. Which of course means they can breed no longer.
Twins occur at a 5% probability.

The old maps shows the area of Duhla.
In the West there's the Meadow of Battle and the Western Forest, under Koru reign. The bridge enables people and Temeos cross the river to the Eastern meadow, a lush grassy area. Surrounded by the forest is the Circle of Gaia, a rock formation which is rumored to possess magical features. This is a legend, though, we're not sure if it is true. The deciduous forest belongs to the Oka pack. The River supplies water to the small forest pond.

Locations

1. The Point of Crossing

A human-constructed bridge across the mellow river to unify the two sides

2. The Circle of Gaia
Temeos gather here to meet each other. They believe Mother Earth, also known as Gaia, set the stones in a circle as a sign of companionship.

3. Forest Pond
A small pond of water for drinking and playing within. Idea hunting ground for the Oka pack

4. Skipping Stones
Few large stones that allow crossing onto the small sandy landmass between the two rivers.

5. The Meadow of Battle
According to ancient lore, this is where the Oka and Koru packs split in two. They were previously a mighty population known as the Okaruko, but disputes between the Alpha and Beta lead into a bloody split up.

The Shop

Located on a cobblestone street in a medium sized city, the shop is snug among other shops selling various items and goods. Eccentric bunch, one might say. The shop is small and cozy, an makes a nice pit stop whether you own a Temeo or not.

A fireplace, located between the bookshelves, was fitted on Christmas, 2008

The small kitchenette has an assorted collection of teas and coffee, usually stocked in cookies and baking supplies for the shop goers to use at will.

General

Temeo can have Imps as familiars.
After acquiring an imp you can assign it to a Temeo you own here.

User Image
IMPS

Imps are a tiny member of the Temeo family that emerge around Halloween. They are genetically related, but are not close relatives. They don't grow much bigger than your average house mice, but get into trouble a whole lot often. Their main interests are playing tricks on fellow creatures and wreaking as much havoc as possible.

Imps are an 'accessory' that cannot be bred. You're free to roleplay your imps with/without your Temeo! You are not required to assign your imps to any Temeo.
