General Shop Rules

• Please follow all Gaia TOS.
  
• Please read all our rules. If you cannot abide by our rules, then do not participate in our events or post here.
  
• When buying/bidding/ordering a taur there is a limit to one taur per person per event/offer unless otherwise stated. Please do not use alts (alternate accounts) or mules to gain additional taurs.
  
• As of January 2011, we are no longer allowing posting styles in any of our threads. You may only use styles for roleplay text purposes. Posting styles are often too large and graphic intense.

Naming Rules
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒

While there are few rules to naming taur please make sure you read them before asking to name your taur.

• Among regular growing taur no name may be reused.
  
• Among pygmy, we've done away with naming rules. There's too many to keep track of.
  
• Pygmies may share names with pygmies from other events and growing taur. (Though it's asked that if you plan on RPing your pygmy that you pick an original name).
  
• No vulgar names or names intended to reference something vulgar.
  
• If you plan on RPing your taur it's asked that you try to choose a name that the taurs would actually name their children. (Obviously, so long as it isn't against the rules we won't stop you, it's simply asked).
  
• We have the right to say no to any name if we deem it inappropriate.

► Nivae's Forest: Cervitaurs live here. Unitaurs hide deep within here.
► Cursed Forest: Nagas live there with a huge hidden city.
► The Isle of Exiles: All exiled taur are sent there and never return.
► Northwest Coast: Human settlements along Broken Bay.
► Nathair Inis: Foxtaur original homelands.
► Meon Garran: Wolftaur original homelands.
► Draiocht: Cattaur original homelands.
► Tri Gaelach: The great crater where Dracotaur were created.

Interested in giving a Taur child a safe home? Well then, read on...PLEASE READ ALL RULES!!

• Flatsales will begin when the mule posts "GO." Do NOT post until you see the GO!
  
• When posting for a Taur, you MUST include the number of the baby in question... such as "male #3."
  
• No fighting, flaming, intimidating, or otherwise being obnoxious. We will blacklist you for doing this without question.
  
• Please make sure to read the naming rules. You are responsible for knowing how to properly name your taur.
  
• Growing taurs are typically 5k and adult staged only taur are typically 2k, unless they are RARE... in which case, the price will be specified. Trades are due within 24 hours of winning.
  
• If you win a flatsale, please PM the mule or post with the name for your new taur!
  
• Naturally, if you've been gray or blacklisted, you may NOT participate in these events.

Customs & Bribes

Our customs are little different. Customs do NOT allow for edits and only certain races are offered. Bribes are where you'll be able to learn how to get a taur made to your specifications. We won't make just anything you order, so please read through all the [ Custom & Bribe rules in the subforum of the guild ].

People on the gray list will not be permitted to participate in ANY special events, including RP events, sales, auctions, raffles, or purchase of customs. Your taurs will not be retired, but they cannot be bred and are not eligible for recustom offers.

Those on the blacklist have had their taurs refunded, completed, rehomed, and/or retired. If you find yourself on this list, you will not be owning any new taur or participating in events... now or ever.

Anyone caught using an alt will have ALL their taurs retired, regardless of rarity, price paid, or how long they've been a shop regular. Even RL commissioned taurs will be retired if you used an alt to obtain it.

Retired taurs have their names removed from the Taken Name List and their names are made available once more.

And Chibi Tassos will brow beat you to death - really.
