RP Dificulty levels. For more information on each race please check >>HERE<<.
Common (Centaur/Cervitaur/Syrin) - The Common types of taur are the best for new players who just walk into the shop and RP. It's still recommened that you read their race descriptions but no one will notice if you don't. These races weren't affected by the war, or were affected very little.
Uncommon (Cattaur/Wolftaur/Foxtaur/Naga(Standard)) - The Uncommon types of taur are also good for new players but they require a bit more imagination. Please read their race descriptions for more information. These races weren't affected by the war, or were affected very little.
Rare Harpy(F)/Satyr/Manta/Dolphin/Naga (Armless) - The rare types have more specific histories and heavier/darker backstories. It's highly recomended that you read up on these races before RPing. They will not interact with all other species the same way. These races were heavily affected by the war.
Rarer Anglerfish/Ursataur/Minotaur - The rarer types have more specific histories and heavier/darker backstories. It's highly recomended that you read up on these races before RPing. They will not interact with all other species the same way. These races were heavily affected by the war.
Rarest Harpy(m)/Unitaur/Naga(Cobra) - The rarest races have very specific rolls to play in the world of Cein Isles, and are RP manditory. These races may or may not have been affected by the war.

This section talks about age groups and their effects on your taur; how you can expect your taur to behave and speak in differant points of their life. Obviously, there are extreems in each catagory and each individual will have different levels of maturity, but 90% of the time your taur should fall into these stages at different times of their lives.
Newborn/Egg Taur that have an egg stage are still in their eggs at this point.
Early Infanthood/Hatchling- Your taur is just learning to walk, he/she is probably still rather shaky and unsure of his/her movments. They tend to be very clumsy in all activities. Speach wise, your taur will still be experimenting with sound. They will be unable to form an entire word, but hey, baby speech is adorable! At all baby stages your taur is very self-centered.. "me, me, me, ME!"
Late Infanthood- Your taur is much more confident with walking and is probably now enjoying the occassional short run. They are much more sure of themselves and are willing to try just about anything (including worms, eww!). Speech wise, your taur will have learned a few basic words and can now string them together in basic sentances. Your baby is likely still very self-centered.
If you feel your baby is old enough you may choose to advance to early childhood, but be careful not to over do it! Remember your taur still has it's entire childhood to go through!

Disabilities If you decide to give your taur a disability please read up on the disability before RPing. Remember, not all disabilities are predetermined at birth, some taur may become disabled later in life and will have to learn to live with it. Both scenarios can make for intresting RP.
Good reasons to to give your taur a disability - for a challenging or new RP experience.
Bad reasons to to give your taur a disability - so your taur will be 'different' or 'special'.

Cein Isles Basic Timeline
Approximately 200,000 years ago (at least as far as taurian scholars know) the Isles were formed.
Approximately 185,000 years ago Tri Gealach was formed by an unknown force, wiping almost all previous inhabitants of the Isles.
Approximately 80,000 years ago ancient ancestors of the Naga arrived on the main island and settled.
Approximately 78,500 years ago the Unitaur mysteriously began to appear, greatly affecting the level of fauna on the islands.
50,000 years ago all known taurian races were created or evolved from existing non-sentient creatures on the islands by an unknown source. Magic enhanced and sped up their evolution considerably. It is believed that perhaps the Unitaur and Naga had something to do with it, but neither race has any record of it taking place.
300 years ago there was a large scale war between the Naga royal families and the Unitaur, the two known most magical beings on the Isles. The Nagas were recorded to have officially won the war, though recent evidence has started to emerge that the Unitaur had merely retreated and turned extremely reclusive. The Naga now seek domination in other forms and the Unitaur have resolved to not interfere with the movement of the known world any further for fear of utterly destroying it.
Present day: The taurian races have little to no knowledge of the events of the past and go about their lives hearing only fairy tales of the mysterious Unitaur and are wary of the often wicked ways of the Naga.
