* Why did I even read the 3rd one? I don't know. It was here and maybe I was hoping it'd somehow magically redeem itself. In some ways, it was better than the 2nd. In other ways, it may have been worse. There are parts which are interesting, but overall, nothing compares to the first novel. The 2nd and 3rd feel like an a wounded animal dragging itself along, getting weaker and less relevant until it's finally put out of its misery.

I am inspired to make another thread here, in the new year. I have so many books in my collection but am embarassed that I have hardly read any of them. I don't want to be that kind of person! sweatdrop

I am currently reading "How To Be A Victorian" by Ruth Godman. How abut you? smile

Please, do! I've done it three years in a row, because no one else seemed to want to from the past couple of threads. I work a lot, so it's been way to hard to do. You should definitely be the thread runner again.

I'm actually the same way. I have this huge white book shelf, and I just keep buying more and more books and not reading them.

I'm reading Along Came a Spider by James Patterson and Stop Dressing Your Six-Year-Old Like a Skank: A Slightly Tarnished Southern Belle's Words of Wisdom by Celia Rivenbark. biggrin What's your book like?
