After making sure that the woman was okay, Akira moved back down to continue with Allesmaras lesson, and all too quickly, or so it seemed to Akira, night came. "Alright... I think that's more than enough for tonight." Akira suggested, closing the books and standing to replace them on the shelves. "You should probably start letting me know when it's getting late next time, or I'll stay up all night talking to you." He chuckled, knowing his night owl habits far too well. Then again, he wasn't particularly against talking to the dragoness all night long, but for her sake, she'd better get some sleep.

"Where do you live? I could walk you there if you'd like." He offered, since the library was now empty except for the two of them, he could lock up and walk her home. Then again, what was her home status anyways? She knew English, but couldn't speak or read it. Nevermind that, she didn't know Draconic either, or she would have spoken to him in it as soon as she smelled him. "Allesmara.... Do you have a home...? Or a family...?" He was genuinely concerned now, almost horrified at the idea of the girl being on her own all her life, abandoned as a hatchling, but it was the only logical reason behind her lack of communicatin skills.

This girl... She was slowly bringing Akira out of his shell in what? A day? A few hours? What was it about her? Was it because she seemed just as lonely and ignored as he felt sometimes? Was it because it gave him an oppertunity to teach? Or maybe because she was just... Outright friendly to him, in spite of what and who he was?

The remainder of the walk to the hospital felt short; rushed. Jek simply kept pace behind the two girls with a constant frown ready on his face. It was apparent that he was duped for the sake of getting him off of the white-haired woman’s tail. The way she walked; it was clear that she had no injury and yet here he was, escorting her and Miki some place that none of them needed to be. Jek cracked his neck and looked down suddenly.
Miki had stumbled backwards a bit and into Jek who she grabbed onto. She looked winded.
“Are you alright, Miss Miki? Do you need to see a physician as well when we get to the hospital?” He wasn’t even sure what to say anymore because it was almost certain that no one actually needed any help at all. Miki was even more durable than she appeared. It mattered very little as the group approached the hospital.

Jek followed beside Miki right in behind Luna. The wait was less than moments before she was accepted into the back. Jek scratched his head lightly as he sat on one of the waiting chairs, unsure of whether to stay or go. Luna said she’d get home alright but…should he sit and see her off once she got out of the office? He really had no idea so he settled for staying put.

Turning slightly, Jek raised his eyebrows to Miki who asked him if she could spend the night. It was quite the interesting dilemma here because he would be more than happy to let anyone stay with him if they needed but that was the catch. No one could stay with him. Jek didn’t have a place he called home. He had dedicated so much time to the military that he simply slept in the barracks most of the time and when he was off duty, he spent nights on the street, roofs and assorted inns, always playing it off as his choice or he was there investigating. It was truly a laughable lifestyle for a Captain. The only place he could call home was his father’s house and he avoided the house like the plague. It was just easier not to see him. If there was anyone else you could say that Jek disliked besides his brother, it was his father and even there he only avoided him; never really disliked him.

“I…You should be escorted home. I wouldn’t want your family to think something happened…” He tried to smile but it fell flat. Only moments later his eyes rotated to see a rather displeased Luna stepping back out. “Miss Miki, I don’t have a home…” He frowned for a moment and then shrugged. “If you need to though, I would be happy to pay for an inn room for you.” His smile became genuine.

Thoughts ღ "I dont want to be alone..."

{:: Nya ::}

Miki got more nervous when he looked at her and answered with her needing to be escorted home. As weak as she felt she didn't think she could make it home. Miki nervously played with her fingers as she glanced up at Luna who came back looking very upset. Jek stated that he didn't have a home. For some odd reason that made Miki feel less nervous about asking to stay with him. Though since Jek was being honest with her, she felt that she should also be honest with him and explain why she wanted to stay with him."I... just don't think I can make it home... I feel weak suddenly.. " She mumbled not really wanting to mention her premonitions yet. She didn't want the Wolf-girl knowing that Miki had figured out what she was by seeing her past. She looked at Luna and stood up. Miki ended up standing too fast though and falling into Luna and grabbing the girls breast by mistake as she reached for something to stop her from hitting the ground. "S-sorry" She said as she quickly moved her hand from the squishy breast and to the girls arm to get herself standing straight. She sighed in relive when no premonition came after the touch. She was thankful the possibility of premonitions went down after touching someone.

Miki slowly let go of Luna and her worried eyes layed on Jek. "I don't want to be alone tonight..." She felt vulnerable as she was now. Because she had two premonitions so close to each other she did not have much energy meaning sh wouldn't be able to use her wind magic let alone stay awake for much longer.

When Kinika's reached and grabbed Ceesa's hands, he was pretty much doomed. A puppet, dangling on his strings... And she was in control. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't get away from this situation, so why not just give in? It'd be so easy...

"O-okay." Ceesa scooted a little closer so that he wouldn't be leaning over like an idiot when they smooched. It was kind of shameful how terrible he was with women, considering he was supposed to be this badass mercenary... Oh well. Whatever was about to happen, Ceesa was going to give in to it. He was tired, and Kinika was... Was...

He gazed at her for a moment before moving in for the kiss, still trying to get rid of the lingering doubt in his mind. He started to say something, but finally gave in, moving closer and touching his lips to Kinika's. The kiss was intended to be more romantic than anything, as if they were husband and wife... Ceesa had no way of knowing how that worked, though, so it was debatable whether or not he was getting it right. Just as long as Kinika was happy...

Once the problem had been dealt with, Akira returned back downstairs where Allesmara was now studying. The two went over words and phrases together, but it seemed like time had passed much too fast. By the time they were finished, Allesmara was able to speak some basic full sentences; enough that if Akira decided not to teach her anymore, it would be easier for her to get by. As they closed the books, Allesmara let out a quiet sigh. She was enjoying her time at the library with him, but it was time for bed. She found she was having a hard time keeping her eyes open anyways. When he mentioned that she probably should've let him know when it started to get late, Allesmara giggled. "That's okay." she replied quietly. She wouldn't mind talking to Akira for years, if he would listen. Nobody ever listened.

It was time to go home, though. When Akira asked where she lived, she sat for a moment, trying to figure out words to describe where it was. "My home... is in the forest." she answered, looking out the window to the direction it was. When he mentioned family, though, Allesmara got really quiet. She never really had a family, besides Odis, but Odis had been dead for years now. Looking up to Akira, she simply shook her head. No family, and an abandoned shack to call home. Although, for what she had, she did fairly well for herself. Standing from her chair, she yawned, looking over to Akira momentarily. "I'm tired..." she stated, stretching her arms a bit before grabbing her robe off of the back of her chair and slipping it on, then waiting patiently for Akira to lead the way.

The forest....? She lived in the forest and had no family, no one to talk to. No wonder she'd settled for him. Her family seemed to be a touchy subject, so Akira simply nodded as well, dropping it there and then. A sad smile crossed his face, nodding quietly as she suggested he was tired. "We should get going then." He suggested, gathering Ichigeki's gifts off the table and placing them carefully into his bag.

He then moved closer to Allesmara and offered her his arm, that way she could lean on him if she grew too tired as they walked. He was rather tired himself, but then again he was always tired, being as sleep deprived as he was. He was used to it though, Allesmara probably wasn't, so it was more important that he support her than the other way around.

They exited, and Akira locked the giant doors with a brass key before moving on towards the forest. He let Allesmara direct him, until they reached a small shabby shack. That must have been the house she mentioned. Akira breathed a silent sigh, looking distant as he stared at her 'house'. Then, slowly, he walked forwards, holding the door open for her. "...Are you sure you'll be alright here...?" He sounded worried, moving to the fireplace and snapping his fingers. A pile of fresh wood appeared and set itself in fire, making the cold room a little warmer.

He wanted so badly to give her something better than this.

As the vixen slept, she dreamed. These were not good dreams, but nor were they bad... They caused her to shiver in her sleep, tossing and turning as guilt washed over her.

She bolted through the forest on white paws, her heart beating faster and faster. Golden eyes darted this way and that, praying that he had not seen her... The truth was, she had been lying about her identity for some time now. Her sleek white fur had been a ruse, something to help keep his guard down. Everyone that knew the legends of the forest knew to stay away from her true self...

She stopped once she reached her shrine, tears streaking down her face. She shifted into her humanoid form, but it was different. Her jet black hair lightened, falling about her shoulders in a pale cascade. Breathing deeply, she fully expelled her ruse- white tails took on color, shining a brilliant gold in the dappled light of the canopy. She held her face in her hands, sobs racking her slender form.

Kikole was a gold fox, not a harmless white... She had wanted to blend in so badly that she had taken on another appearance, another identity. Legends of Gold foxes still circulated, and she had heard frightened whispers around the town when she had watched from the outskirts of the forest before. That was what had truly prompted her to shift colors... She wanted to belong. But now that her secret was out...

In the confines of Kinika's home, a change was taking place. The fox in her bed looked nothing like she had when she entered. She had transformed, guilt finally overcoming her, manifesting itself in a physical form. This Kikole was showing her true colors- and they were gold.

Since she had caused herself to have a throbbing migraine with her ability, and the fact that it had gotten so late, Helena resigned herself to simply returning home. She could visit her father another day and show him her music sheets. With the decision made to simply return home she redirected her steps and tried her best to hurry along. However with her headache causing her vision to blurr she was limited in speed. With her heels clicking with each step she settled into a slower pace that would allow her to reach home within twenty minutes.

As she continued to walk Helena kept the small stack of music sheets close to her chest with one hand and the other was rubbing at her assaulted temple. Thankfully she had an herb at home that would help to rid her of the affliction and she could rest easy for the night. When finally she reached her home she dropped her hand to dig into her skirt pocket and locate her key. Once she found it she let out a sigh of relief then worked the key into the lock so that she could gain entrance. A few seconds at most and Helena was inside and safely locked into her home. Her key and music papers went onto the table by the door and she half stumbled into the kitchen to make something to help her migraine.

Helena boiled water for a green tea as she dug through her cabinets for something more, an extra ingredient that would help her pain. When she found it she smiled half heartily. At that same time her teapot whistled at her to let her know it was ready. She moved closer to the stove and removed it, to stop the annoying sound, then poured just enough of the hot water into her waiting mug. Setting aside the pot she added in the tea mixture that would help her rest easily. Helena stirred the liquid for a moment, blowing on it to cool it and watching the steam fall to the side rather than rise. When she at last thought it was ready to drink she took a tentative sip, making sure not to burn herself as she sat down at the table. The brunette had in mind that she could drink her tea and then take herself off to bed to relax, but she would fall asleep at the kitchen table before her tea was finished.

Kinika made it seem as if she was nervous to kiss him before he leaned in. She leaned in as well and hesitated till he made the first move. And he did, their lips touched softly at first. Kinika making the kiss passionate and gentle. She could tell that she had to lead the kiss. This man had not had much experience with women. That was fine though, Kinika lead kisses all the time.

Slowly Kinika wrapped her arms around Ceesa, hoping he would do the same. She leaned into the kiss more to make it deeper, but not enough to push him over. With one arm around him she took his hand with her free hand and placed it over her heart. Her intentions were to get him to feel her up but she tried to make it out to showing him how fast her heart was beating. Kinika slowly unlocked their lips, holding his hand to her chest "Ceesa..." She whispered. "Can you make me happy tonight?" Her voice sounded desperate and needy. She looked into his eyes, her ears back to make it look like she thought he would say no. Her tails behind her not moving much.

Allesmara nodded in agreement when he mentioned getting going. She was definitely tired, her eyes droopy and her movements starting to become sluggish. Her gaze followed his hands as he picked up the things that the strange man had brought earlier. When he was ready to go, he held out an arm for her. At first, she was slightly hesitant, unfamiliar with contact with another in a way such as this. But, she knew Akira meant no harm, so she gently linked her arm through his for support. The two exited the library quietly, and as soon as they were outside, Allesmara was gazing at the stars. They always fascinated her, and she always wondered how they even got up so high in the sky. So many things she wished to learn...

The walk to her place in the forest was only a mere 15 minute walk from the kingdom. Allesmara looked down at the small firepit that sat outside of the house, the coals still warm. The fire must have recently went out. She followed Akira as he head towards her door-- he seemed uneasy about this place. Why he did, she was unsure. This cabin had been Allesmara's home for years, it was really all she ever knew. When he asked if she would be alright here, she shrugged. "I've been here for a long time." she replied quietly, a tired smile on her face. She entered the little shack, slipping off her shoes and watching as Akira replenished her wood supply in the woodstove and lit a fire with magic. That would also be something Allesmara would have to learn one day. The inside of the shack was fairly dull; a woodstove in the center, a small bed in the corner, a chair and a table in the opposite corner with a vase full of wilted flowers, and a small wardrobe with her few clothes in it. Making her way over to the small straw bed, she sat on it, looking over to Akira momentarily. Clearing her throat, Allesmara pulled up the blanket she had gotten from the black market, wrapping herself in it. "Thank you, Akira, for teaching me." she stated, pausing momentarily before looking down at her now bare feet. "Can I... see you again?" she asked, trying to find the best way to ask if they would be able to meet up once more. Although Akira had been one of the first people to actually want to take the time to talk to her, she fairly enjoyed his company as well. Allesmara felt comfortable around Akira, and safe, too. It was an unfamiliar feeling, but she found herself quite fond of it. As much as she wanted to stay up reading all night or talking with him, she knew he had to go to his home. The thought made her sigh a little, a fear in the back of her mind that he wont want to sit and talk with her again, that he would suddenly disappear.

"...That wasn't part of--"

Why was Ceesa surprised? He shouldn't have been, it was obvious that Kinika was trying to seduce him. He didn't want this, though. Not like this. Knight Gorgon wasn't going to give into her. Not after seeing what she was capable of regarding medicine. Once the kiss was broken, Ceesa retracted from her warm embrace and took her by the wrists gently, gazing at her with his uncovered eye. "Why? After all that talk about being forced into this life, yew'll sit here and try to rope me in... Yew say yew were told that yew were useless, but yew helped Kikole heal, right? So... So why not work in medicine, or..."

He felt no joy in this. No matter how beautiful or needy she seemed, Ceesa couldn't bring himself to surrender. "I don't understand..." He stared, puzzled, at Kinika.

Lesson one in ruining the mood: be Ceesa. Lesson two... Well, actually, that was it.

"...If it wasn't painfully obvious already, I've no experience dealing with women. Thas'because I didn't actually expect anyone t'go after the 'scary mercenary' with a snake-eye that turns whatever it looks at into stone. So forgive me if I seem hesitant." His voice was a little testy, seeing as he'd been teased all day, in spite of him being wary of dealing with such vixens.

A moment passed, and Ceesa still wasn't sure how to defuse the situation. "...If this is truly what yew want, I won't say no. But..." He was so concerned, and he didn't even know why. Kinika was wasting her true talents. "If I had such a knack for first aid, I certainly wouldn't be selling my body on the streets... Then again, I'm a big hairy brute, so there's that." His worried expression was broken by a chuckle, and then he just sat there, looking painfully away from Kinika. "I... Think I'm going t'stop talking now."

Why? Why could he not get his point across?

Thoughts x What is wrong with this guy?!

To Kinika's surprise he rejected her. Kinika's jaw almost dropped as he grabbed her wrists and tried to tell her that she should be in the medical field and not selling her body. What was wrong with this guy. Kinika -an overly attractive fox girl- is throwing herself on this male with little clothing on and he was still refusing her and telling her she should give up her job. Did he know how many men would be pissed off with him if she really did quit being a prostitute?! Kinika refrained from baring her teeth and growling at him in frustration. She shouldn't have this much problems seducing a man.

She watched as he explained that he had no experience with women and never expected anyone to be with him. With such words she would think he would be all over her. But he wasn't he was using all his will power to get her away from him. Kinika licked her lips at the last of his words and glanced down at his hands that still gripped her wrists. "Do you think that you don't deserve a woman like me?" She stared at him, trying to understand why such a man would reject her. How could he think what she was doing was wrong. Kinika didn't understand. Growing up her guardians told her it was the best way to make a lot of money to seduce men and make them pay for it. She never learnt the importance of ones body she just knew that she had to avoid getting pregnant.

Kinika's tails flicked behind her with frustration. Though to Ceesa they looked like they were flicking around. She looked away from Ceesa as she thought about what he kept saying that she should be working with medicine. It would make her money but not as much as being a prostitute. She looked back at Ceesa waiting for his answer on her question. If she asked one question at a time she might be able to have a chance still. Though Kinika was about ready to give up and crawl n bed with Kikole.

It was clear that Kinika was confused; she had a reason to be, though. Ceesa was being difficult. He simply couldn't rest easy knowing that the girl was only doing this for money. It was deplorable! Sure, money was great, and all, but... Sex should be free! For both genders! Why on earth would someone pay money to partake in the act of love-making!?

"N-no, I don't think that. I just... I would prefer to earn a woman like yew, not buy-- I know yew said that-- Um--"

Curse this woman! Curse her!

"...Don't get me wrong, I've been fighting the urge to tear off that styupid dress and--"

Damn it, that wasn't right, either!

Sighing, Ceesa backtracked a little. "What I'm trying t'say is that yew shouldn't do this just because yew want t'make money." Not that Ceesa had any money, after buying that drink for the dragon, earlier. Her undeniable beauty was, once again, piercing through his defenses. "Hell, that doesn't make sense... Of course yew'd enjoy it, yew get the best deal every time." It was slowly dawning on Ceesa that he'd probably been trying to reason with a brick wall.

He let her go, realizing that she probably didn't appreciate being held in that position. "I'm sorry, it wasn't my place t'judge." Ceesa looked back to Kinika with a depressed look on his face, feeling more or less like the biggest idiot on the planet. He hoped he hadn't completely weirded her out... Ceesa just cared- admittedly, a little too much- about her well-being.

Akira rubbed the back of his neck with a gloved hand and let out a soft chuckle. He supposed she was probably used to living here... She was also probably stronger than she seemed, but still he was worried. He watched her sit on a bed, straw from the sound of it, and then, she thanked him for teaching her. "It was fun, really, it was. I love teaching but... Not many humans will listen to a dragon, and not many dragons will affiliate with black dragons... " He suggested with a half hearted chuckle.

Then she asked if she could see him again. Akira straightened up, looking surprised at first, but then a gentle smile grew on his face as he knelt down beside her bed. "Absolutely. Everyday if you want to- Just come by the library and find me and I-" He paused, realizing how quickly he was speaking.

An embarrassed chuckle escaped his lips as he gripped her bedside, trying to calm down so he wouldn't sound so desperate and awkward, but feeling the straw beneath his fingers made him cringe thinking how uncomfortable it must have been to sleep on. He couldn't stop himself, magic seeped into the bed and started to change the straw into cotton. It would be an unnoticeable change, other than the feel. Then he stood, hesitated, and then smiled again. "Sleep well..." He said quietly, and hurried out the door before he made more of a fool of himself. As he passed the vase of wilted flowers though, they stared to gain life again. Being an earth dragon had it's advantages...

Time practically flew by as Akira returned to the library. The rumor that he lived in the library was more true than he would have liked to admit. There was a secret room behind a bookcase in the restricted section. This was where he slunk away to stay up all night reading and drawing his nightmarres; he learned a spell that allowed him to forget the nightmare by transferring the memory onto paper, but he still had more. Now though, he actually felt rather happy and at ease, so maybe... Just maybe.... He crawled into bed, making himself comfortable, and for once, he fell asleep peacefully.

It took less than a second for the blood to rush to Luna's face at Miki's touch, her hands darting out to catch her before either one of them hit the floor, a slight wince at the light contact upon her leg, shock fresh on her face. It's not that the female had never been felt up, she'd had plenty of males interested, ask for a night out with her, and then get ballsy. The touch was simply unexpected, and a little embarrassing. Embarrassing? Luna didn't get embarrassed...though the even blush colored her pale face rather nicely. It made her seem...human, almost. Less ethereal. Miki's skin was cooler than her own, though everyone seemed cool to the touch when compared to the Were. It seemed to run in the family, or so she was told. A Were-trademark if you will.

Clearing her throat, Luna helped Miki up, steadying she, and herself, the overall look of shock dissipating. The blush however remained. Her mouth curled up slightly in an amused expression before she blurted out
"At least take me out to dinner, first..." Luna could be funny when she wanted to be...though, usually it was in the wrong place at the wrong time. This situation for instance. There was obviously something she missed conversation-wise between these two. This type of casual comment was a friendly gesture put into an unbearably awkward moment.

Her head tilted slightly at Miki's last comment, curious as to what had her so on edge. The she-wolf usually would stay out of these kind of matters, unless it greatly benefited her. So, why she said
"-and so you won't." Luna will never know. She hadn't heard any part of their conversation earlier, so she couldn't possibly benefit from getting involved. Her hard gaze turning to Jek for a response, the blush still hot on her face. She didn't expect him to stay with her. Her comment had been an offer more than anything. Her reasoning, lost to the wind. Luna had no home. No family. No relations to this town, or this girl. The most she could do is set up a camp, and or drop her remaining coins for a room at the inn. It's not like she needed them. She stole everything she absolutely needed. What were these people doing to her?

" ... when sun has faded and moon is dead? "
