All Yzak could do was begin to laugh some at her comment, "Well. I can't be for sure who it was. I only know that it has been rumored around the Ground Forces and that's all I know ready." He said as he just smirked shaking his head. "And I don't think that the guy would be alive if you did hook up with him." He just grin some as he looked over toward her, "Your other fans would kill him for taking you for himself." That caused him to laugh out loud as he shook his head once more. He then smiled some as he pulled out an locket that he had under his armor and opened it. Inside was an picture of his late wife and his six year old daughter. "And if you ever do find someone to love you for you." He turned his head to look back at her, "Don't ever let them go Commander and don't ever forget what's important to you" He spoke meaning the truth, if anyone ever found true love. THey should fight for it with all of their might and power.

Solomon studied the image as it appeared and his plan to use the old gate to get to Ahrue. And maybe there, they could get some answers at last. But the ships guarding it would be touble. "Sir, your talking about about an Dozen or maybe more around that old gate. And an if the Station's weapons are done. We would be luckly just to get close enough to sent broading parties to takes the Station's Command center and active the gate. I don't see how without doing cloak on them, or hitting them with tactical weapons. The numbers aren't in our favor, but the fact that we may be able to get some answers and maybe an way to learn more about this new rule of Davis could be good." He looked up at the Fleet Captain. "So, whats the plan then?" he asked the higher ranking officer showing that he had Solomon's support in the operation.

Nike was monitoring the teams as they patrolled the various areas of the station. He gave orders to several marines to sweep and clear areas that they had not previously been to, to make sure that there were no high ranking officers still present. "We have 24 hours to find these officers and in the unlikely event that you find them, make sure that they are treated with respect." Nike said to the teams. They sent their acknowledgements and went about their business.

The joke wasn't that good, nor it was the first time she heard it, but nevertheless it always made her laugh, Vanessa covered her mouth as she laughed with Yzak, a good laugh, something she needed right now in the middle of this grim situation they were in, at least in the sea of despair of war, there were this little moments of joy and laugh, but even then, there was always a shadow.

As Yzak took the locket, Vanessa's curiosity sparked, she took a peek around Yzak shoulder, her blues gazing on the pictures of the woman and the little child "Wife and child I presume?" she inquired before Yzak began speaking, his words made her regret asking, it sounded as if they were gone, a feeling she couldn't relate to, but his words made her wonder on her family back home and then on all the men that have passed through her life, could it be one of them was the one?, she couldn't be certain.

"I just hope I haven't met him yet..." she said, her face becoming sad and serious all of a sudden "I just hope I didn't let him go already..."

Yzak just looked at the locket as he had flashbacks to the when time when his wife was still alive and after his daughter was born and growing up. THey were both good and bad flashbacks. But they were ones that he enjoyed anyway. When she asked if they were his family, he nodded as he handed the locket out to her to look if she wished. "Yes, my late wife Mary and my four year old daughter. My daughter is staying with late wife's side of the family until I get back." He said smiling softly as he looked at the picture of his daughter. "her name is Sakura and she just turn four." He looked up at Vanessa when she talk about maybe missed the one for her. He shook his head, "If just give up than you will have passed them back. But if you try to find the one and ever give that up. Than you will find the one for you for sure Commander" he said nodding to her as.

"Your right Captain, we can't hold off a dozen warships and possibly a station. Tactical weapons are out of the question, not everyone is out to get us and I'm not prepared to kill thousands of our own people." Captain Taylor said.

He brought up another image on the screen.

"When we arrive, you and hopefully our other friend here will "escort" us towards the station. We will make it look like you took the Vanguard in battle and took command. If they accept this lie then we should be able to get jump clearance. Once on the other side, we make a break for Ahrue. Naval patrols on the other side should be must lighter."

Jonas allowed Captain Solomen some time to process the plan.

" Engineering I need you to make any sort of repairs you can to the engine in case we need to push them again. It looks as though a dry dock isn't in the forecast for us anytime soon. " Nils said to the small holo screen image of the main engineer on his captain chairs com. " Captain.." Spoke the main engineer back without hesitation.".. I don't have the materials nor the personal aboard to even attempt such repair. You do relieve it was a miracle we got away without much issue. The majority of the crew who are working are just random station crew members who made it to the ship. The fact that she is flying in the straight line and where we want her with life support systems and the gravity platting on is a testament to these officers. " The engineer stop for a moment to relax a little, it was clear he had been under a fair bit of stress just keeping the ship going. He needed to cool down before he self destructed on the captain. Nils hadn't spoken and was sure to listen and it was clear that there was only really one thing he could do. " Seems like we need help chief engineer, and I know where we can get some help on short notice." He left the chief engineer connect while he issues new orders. " Tactical, I need an update on ship distances of our little convoy. " He spoke firmly from his chair. "Sir, T.S.S Enterprises, carrier class is about 6000Km off our port bow and the T.S.S Jormungandr, Dreadnought class is 300 000Km off the starboard quarter. No other ship are being detected." Nils nodded his approve at the response. "Com, get me Enterprise, inform them that would request to dock along side them while in transit. Helm, get us into docking position." The Helms man spun around in his chair and look at Nils. " Sir, this may be out of place but are you crazy! It hard enough to dock with a ship sitting still in space with all system working correctly. You want me to dock this ship, to another while its moving and when all our system are new and not working optimally." Nils looked the Helms men in the eyes. " Ensign, I don't need to explain my actions to you or anyone else other than the Admiral on the vessel. That's one of the perks of being the captain, however you heard the chief engineer, we don't have much choice and if we want to stand a fighting chance in the up coming battle we need to get this ship in shape before we get there. We need experienced crew and we need materials. So, prepare the ship to dock with the Enterprise ensign, or I will get someone who will." The helms men had a hard time holding eye contact with Nils, as his eyes seemed to pierce right though the lower level officer. He spun around and started. " Sir, matching speed of the enterprise, compensating for drift and rotation. "

She took the locket and watched it for a bit "She is beautiful" Vanessa replied, looking at Yzak daughter "I'm sorry about your wife" was the only words she could think off and say in such an awkward moment she turned as loud sounds began filling the hangar, the repair crews working on her fighter, trying to get it back into fighting shape, no one wanted the best pilot on the fleet grounded because her aircraft wasn't ready.

Her turned back to Yzak as he began speaking about not giving up on the chance of finding someone "I know, I'm sure there should be one man who will make my hearth jump, but he is doing a really good job hiding from my eagle eyes" she chuckled "Hey, maybe he is from the SNI" the idea of bonding with a Space Naval Intelligence operative caused her to laugh "Just imagine that, he will be all mysterious and with such a festive girlfriend, that's got to be something..." her eyes moved away from Yzak as she saw the black vessel pass beside the port dock of the Entreprise, her blues followed the ship as it began slowing down "Just what in the name of Jesus is that thing" she didn't recognize the design at all, it had a few terran trademark designs, but it was different, something told her that this had something do with the SNI, the idea send chills crawling her spine

"I wonder..." she though to herself, and a smile appeared on her face.

On route to secret jumpgate site

The Vanguard along with the two other warships they picked up, arrived at the jumpgate. Everyone was on alert, but something was off.

"Captain, sensors are picking up only three warships in the area. Two destroyers and a cruiser. No other vessels or stations." The sensor officer reported.

This was odd, normally jump gates had small fleets of vessels and a defense station for protection.

"Put the vessels on the main screen." Captain Taylor ordered.

The main display flashed and it pictured the three warships in this area. They were not standard Imperium naval vessels, but black op warships.

"Tactical alert, set alert level one throughout the fleet." Jonas ordered.

Alarms sounded throughout the Vanguard, she was preparing for combat. Orders were sent to the other two vessels to do the same and prepare for battle. The black op vessels changed their courses to intercept the Vanguard's fleet. Missile locks were already going off.

"Enemy vessels locking on, incoming missiles." The chief tactical officer reported.

"Ready countermeasures, activate point defense batteries." Jonas ordered once again.

Missiles streaked towards their targets. The Vanguards point defense guns lit up and filled the empty vacuum with deadly lead. Missiles started to explode around them as they took hits, a few did managed to break through the flak barrier and impacted on the Vanguard's armor.

The Commanders shuttlecraft touched down in the main hangar bay of the Vanquish, the fleet's flagship. The main hatch of the shuttle opened and Commander Gideon stepped out. He was escorted by two guards to out of the hangar deck and to the war room. When Jordan arrived he stepped in and noted that Sub-Admiral Duval was already inside, he also noted that he was the only one there at the moment.

"Admiral." Jordan said as he entered, then saluted.

Lutri turned and saluted the Commander back. Jordan dropped his arm and stepped forward.

"You are always the early bird Commander." Lutri said with a smile.

Jordan returned the smile. It was true, he liked being early to briefings.

"Well, its either be early or be late. I was always told to be early for matters of importance." Commander Gideon said.

"Good advice, please Commander have a seat. The others will be arrive shortly." Admiral Duval said, waving to a free seat.
