Sub Admiral Lutri Duval
V.N.S. Vanquish - Judgement Class Battleship
Near Krala, Nonua System

Being in command of a war fleet was exhausting. Sub Admiral Duval exited her office that was close to the bridge. She had just finished sending her post battle report to Admiral Cain and the other high ranking officers back at Vangar Prime. She walked into the bridge, the command and control center of her ship, the Vanquish. Two troops saluted outside as she walked by, Lutri saluted back and headed right for the center of the bridge.

"Admiral, Major Khan on board the Blackjack has been requesting to speak with you." The com officer reported.

Lutri gave him a nod.

"Alright, set up a link." Lutri requested.

"Yes sir." The com officer replied and tapped away at his controls.

"Major Khan is no longer onboard the Blackjack, she is on the Terran outpost." The com officer reported.

"Get me a connection to her personal com-link." Lutri ordered.

The Com officer began to hail Major Khan's personal com-link.

Master General Thomas Garland
Private House
Septimus Alpha - Sextus System

"Are you sure everything will be ready by tomorrow night." Thomas Garland asked.

Thomas and another gentlemen were sitting in his living room, which was dimly lit. Small glasses of scotch were sitting on the coffee table, along with three data tablets. The second man was an Admiral in the navy, Admiral Vincent Talbot.

"Yes I'm sure, the men I have picked I completely trust with my life. The transport will be ready and waiting for you and your family." Talbot answered.

Thomas looked over to a picture frame that sat on top of the fireplace. It had him, his wife and daughter in the picture. After everything that has happened in the last few days, Thomas felt that this place was no longer safe for them. Turning back to the Admiral, he gave him a smile. Thomas knew that Admiral Talbot was risking alot by doing this. If they were all caught, they would all be killed.

"I want to thank you Vincent, I know this is very dangerous for all of us." Thomas answered.

They both took another drink from their scotch and stared at the fire burning away.

"What has our nation become, we have a mad man in charge. Our military is being replaced with black ops commandos, the Terrans and Vangar are at war and we have an alliance with the Vangar. I fear the only way this will all end is in the downfall of the Imperium and the deaths of billions." Thomas said softly.

"I completely agree old friend, we are on a path to our very own destruction." Vincent agreed.

Taking one more drink from his glass, Vincent stood up.

"Well, I must get going. I told my wife I would be home by midnight. I will send you a message tomorrow when the transport is ready." Admiral Talbot said.

Thomas nodded and escorted his friend to the front door.

"Goodnight, and be safe Vincent." Thomas said.

The Admiral departed and was on his way back home. As Vincents car got farther away, a second car started up and went in the same direction.

It was infact confident in his own men that made him speak the words to the young Commander. He knew that the fight before them would be hard and bloodly and she was right. It was going to get harder before its over. He nodded to her when she spoke about falling back when needed too. "Your right, You can't win all of the battles and you may have to lose some to win the war. I know my limits and that was my men as well. We won't stop fighting, but that doesn't mean mean we will pick fights that we know we can't win. Its already better to be smart and alive then dead and dumb." He told her after she gave the reminder. He smirked some, "Give them hell Red Baroness. Your our angel in the sky." Those who flew with her knew her as the Red Baroness. But some of the ground grunts called her the Angel in the Sky. Now that little job about her bring an woman was causing him to smirk at it. "I have the feeling, whoever came up with that nickname there really had the hots for you Ma'am" he shook his head wondering who it was that started that.

OOC: Eeeeeccckkksyyyyy, what do we do with the Imperial base where Natasha and Ark are?

Just after the message to nike left, her personal comm link began beeping "Took you a bit Lutri" she said as her hand reached for the earcom, a single touch and the call came in, it was nice to say hi to one of her former mentors and friend. Lutri and herself were some of the few Vangar females in position of power, high in the rank of the military.

She would have loved a little of chit chat and smart talk with Lutri, but since it was an open channel, Cassandra knew protocols and formalities needed to be keep, not only she knew, her own martial personality called for that, one all eyes are on you, examples must me made, standards set and must be keep at all times

"Sub Admiral Duval, Major Khan reporting, I'm glad high command put you in charge, there are few as capable as you to lead this offensive" a little flattery to her former mentor was never out of the question "The station is under our control, my soldiers are scouring the place for any high ranking terran officer who may have not made it out of the station, but the odds are low, apparently only lower ranking soldiers remained to defend the station"

A slight blush creep on her white cheeks as as Yzak called her Angel in the sky, she was used to the nicknames but it never ceased to make her blush, fame was an everyday for Vanessa now, but the girl could never get used to all the perks it came with, to this day she was always awed when seen her image on some of the Armored infantry tanks, other fighters and posters, heck one of this days it wouldn't surprise her to see her image on the side of a Battleship

"Oh... really?" she said turning to Yzak, her blue orbs sparking "Well then, I wouldn't mind if somebody sent him my way, I'm single and looking"

T.S.S. Expedient - Ready Room
Leaving Krala, Nonua System

Admiral Taggert eyed Commodore Wellington as he entered the ready room. He most likely heard his conversation with Fleet Admiral Tyrell, not that William really cared. Nils asked Taggert his next course of action.

"Set course for Allotesh Commodore, best speed. Also inform the Enterprise and the Dreadnought to follow." Admiral Taggert ordered.

For now, he was going to follow his orders from the Fleet Admiral. He was going to Allotesh and joining the main fleet. However he already was getting a plan in motion to defend the Nonua System and push back the Vangar forces.

The last of the damage and injury reports had made its way to Tracy, it was a long list but nothing that a few good days in dry dock couldn't fix. Thankfully there were no deaths and only a few critical injuries.

"Captain, new orders are coming in from Vice Admiral Taggert on board the Expedient. We are to set course for Allotesh at best speed." The Com officer reported.

Tracy nodded.

"Very good, XO set course for Allotesh. Communications, rely all our damage reports and crew reports to the Admiral." Captain Hart ordered.

The Enterprise's main engines fired and propelled the massive carrier on a course for Allotesh. The Dreadnought that made contact also turned and headed for Allotesh.

Class R Nebula, Sextus System

Jonas tapped on the control panel on the table and the screen flashed as it changed to a new image.

"On our approach to this nebula, our long range sensors detected an old accelerator gate. Used during a time when cruise drives were still in development. Based on sensor scans, it should take us right to the Europa Jumpgate." Jonas said.

He paused, then continued.

"Now, that's where the really fun begins. The Jumpgate will be guarded by at least a dozen warships, most likely destroyers and cruisers. Thankfully the defense station there is undergoing maintenance to its weapons grid. It should be offline when we arrive."

Jonas knew that this plan would be a tricky one to complete. Even if the station was offline, a dozen warships would be enough to destroy them both.

"If we can hold out long enough, we can start up the gate and head for Ahrue. The data files list a top secret black ops base and training ground there."

Imperium Assassin

Ahrue, Northern Continent - Europa System

It was going to be a long walk to the base's fusion reactors. They were in the last level and the lifts were all out.The Assassin ran along dozens of corridors and hallways, ducking behind tall cover or hiding in dark rooms while his cloak recharged. He knew that the others wouldn't be far behind, hell they might have already figured out what he was planning and were heading for the reactors now.

Double checking his weapon, he noted that he only have five shots left and one extra clip. There was no time to find an armory, he noted a battle rifle on the ground and grabbed it. Checking its display, it read a full clip. The assassin attached the rifle to his back via a mag-plate. His cloak was ready, once activated he was on the move again. Only ten more levels to go...

The link with the Major came up on Lutri's screen. The Major opened with some flattery, something that most high ranking officers didn't really care for. However Lutri didn't mind it, and allowed the Major to continue.

"I would guess that high ranking officers made it out on the unknown class of frigate that escaped. The V.N.S. Kingsmen will be sending over shuttles for the prisoners to be transferred to her. They will go back to Vangar Prime." Lutri said.

Even though this was a time of war, Lutri wanted the Terran prisoners to be treated with some respect. They would be sent to military POW camps and held there until either the war was over or the Terrans make some kind of offer for them.

"Good work Major. There will be a war briefing in twelve hours, I want you there."

T.S.S. Jörmungandr,
Leaving Krala.

He sat comfortably in the captains seat overlooking the navigation. His com officer relays his new orders. "Sir, we have been ordered to return to Allotesh with the Expedient." She relayed to Lars. He nodded with a painful sigh. "Well that is a shame, we didn't even get to see combat..." He said as he slumped into his chair before re-positioning him self. "Alright, set course to follow the Expedient, trail behind at a moderate speed so we can be prepared to intercept any pursuing forces." He says as he gives his commands to the helmsman. He then looked to the communication's officer. "Tell everyone that they are to remain on standby for as long as we are in the area, as soon we leave they are to return to their normal duties." The communication's officer nods as she begins to relay the information over the ship coms.

He then looked to his X.O. "Go ahead and tell me how we should have just stayed in Allotesh..." He said grumbling slightly as his X.O. just had a very slight grin.

Flattery was basically reserved for those that, at some point on her life made an impression on her, former mentors, comrades in arms, her father and of course Cain, her hero "That is a safe guess, I presume that frigate was a top secret project, since there are nothing on our intelligence data about that vessel" the following order sit well with Cassandra, having those prisoners sent away to Vangar Primer was the best course of action, placing them out of the way, hopefully, the warders back home will keep the same honor and dignity her soldiers had shown to the terrans so far "Understood, I will order the preparations and have them ready for the shuttles"

"Yes ma'am, I will there on time" Cassandra set an alarm on her watch, which showed up on her HUD, marking the left for the alarm to trigger, 11 hours, 40 minutes, she liked to be early at the meetings.

"Thank you for your time ma'am, is there any additional order you need me to fulfill?"

And the Assassin was right, by now, Natasha had already figured out what was his intent, and she wasn't going to let it happen, problem was, reaching the reactor room first, another thing Natasha already figured out, problem was, she left Ark without much of a backup for now.

Her hands reached for the next pipe, one final pull put her in the next ventilation shaft, her toned muscles tensed as her body was pulled inside, she breathed heavily, normally this wouldn't take that much efforts, but the wounds on her body weren't helping, a couple already opened anew, she could feel the blood inside her suit, before the med interface automatically applied biofoam to close them again.

And to make things worse, she was probably outgunned, since she only had her sidearm to fight the assassin "Progulka v adu budet legche , chem eto ... "("A stroll in hell will be easier than this..." wink she said in russian as she resumed the crawling, slight jolts of pain coming from her wounds keep her alert, silently she moved on, not cloaking since it wasn't needed, her plan was simple, reach the reactor first, get on a vantage position and snipe the mother ********, something that would be easier if she had her sniper riffle, seems right now all she had was her wits.

"Mne nuzhen khoroshiy yebat' posle etogo ... " ("I need a good ******** after this..." wink
