Boken-Ka is a respectably sized village and is home to some of the happiest people on earth. Life in the city is mostly easy going, and friendship goes a long way. While the community is not necessarily small, there is a closer proximity then some of the bigger cities. As a resident of Boken-Ka you are likely to run into the same people from day-to-day. Boken-Ka is also home to a variety of Adventurers Guilds. Nearly a dozen guilds occupy different houses throughout the village. These guilds make it their responsibility to travel to outside locations, looking for supplies, rarities, and new challenges. You are an adventurer. During your nomadic travels you hear of a new guild that is starting in Boken-Ka. This guild while new, is not short on experience, and plans to recruit some of the finest adventurers into its ranks.

You turn down the street marked Denison Alley. Halfway down this road you see a decent sized house that reaches three stories. On the door is a decal in the shape of a wolf’s head. “This must be it,” you think to yourself. In your hands is a piece of parchment, on which you have written your descriptions and qualities.

I want this RP to be about creativity
I set the stage and now I want all of us to create what will follow. This will consist of different adventures we will go on, characters that will influence the story, and contracts that guild receives. You also have free reign to creative different surrounding geographic locations and aspects (Dungeons etc.) All walks of life are allowed and recommended. You may create your character from any race or species you want.

Name: Rhynne Nautilus
Age:28
Height: 6' 2
Weight: 185 lbs.
Sex: Male
Description:
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Rynne was born in the private community of Sainsborough. The family kept to themselves, only letting in certain members of the outside community to join their ranks. In peace and solidarity they enjoyed their own private sense of regalia. Their wealth was supported through sea trade, due to their immense harbor. Rhynne thoroughly enjoyed being out on the open water, sailing was his calling. Although he had still not met an outsider until he turned 15 and left home. It was then that he realized how much of the world he has missed because of his secluded family. He traveled the world for over a decade, gathering information on different cultures, and learning the skills that they had to offer.
It wasn't until he was in his late twenties that he realized he lacked comradery, which was the very thing he left his secluded family to avoid. It was during this time that he suspected he was being followed as well. Through his travels he had learned that his father was not long for this world. He knew Sainsborough would be looking for a successor. They were a traditional community, so he knew that none of his sisters would be permitted to stand up to the challenge. He decided to settle somewhere more discreet and disconnected. Upon arriving at Boken-Ka He immediately used his remaining wealth to buy the abandoned guild house and is eagerly awaiting fellow adventurers.

Equipment and Weaponry:
Black and sliver lance (personalized to his form).
Short-blade, length of forearm and hid inside coat.
Wears hard leather for agile movement and basic defense. Clothing is mostly black with white and silver details and stitching.
Black overcoat.
Eye patch to hide damage to his right eye (Was attacked by a mysterious dark force that left him impaired).

Talents: Extremely quick reflexes. Although the right eye is damaged, and weak to prolonged exposure, it has excellent range in sight. Has a unique connection with a flock of crows that have been following him for an undisclosed amount of time. He can share vision with them through his patched eye, and can utilize them during combat at times, developing abilities from them.

Guild Member
Name: Jing Shizuko
Age: 18
Height: 4'10"
Weight: 110 lbs
Sex: Female
Description: User Image
Jing was abandoned by her parents the day she was born. She never knew the reason why she was abandoned that quiet night in the desert. She was left in a basket in the middle of the desert with nothing not even a name. It was then a group of bandits rode through and came upon her. The bandits were the Infamous Desert Vippers that ruled the desert side. The leader decided to take her in and has her as his own. It was him that gave her the name of Jing cause he said she was pretty as a crystal.
At a very young age, Jing had a knack for getting into things she wasn't suppose to. The leader took this a sign and took her out on her first misson at the age of five. She excelled in stealth and stealing than people twice her age. Her tiny stature made it even easier for her to get into tight places with ease. Half of the time as she grew older, newer bandits mistaked her for a boy because of her lack of 'femine fetures'. But she didn't let that get the best of her. They were more of a hassle than an asset. She started to train herself in martial arts and swordplay to better herself. She wanted to be the best she could for the leader that gave her the life she lived.
After she turned sixteen, she was the leader's right hand man or lady to be precise. And when he passed, she would become the next leader of the Desert Vippers. Then the Sky Hawks started taking their territory and it started a war between them. The war was so intense between the two it would seem one of the gangs would die for the territory. After a year of bloodshed, the Sky Hawks decided to wipe the Desert Vippers off the face of the earth.
They attacked their camp in the middle of the night and started the slaughter. The leader gave his life to protect Jing, the prized crystal of the Vippers as she was called. He gave her the crystal dagger passed down from each leader just before he passed. Without a doubt the Desert Vippers were no more but Jing still lived. She fled the desert with the memories fresh in her mind. For a year she traveled until she reached Boken-ka far from where her name could be reached. She learned of new guild that opened up in town so she thought this could be the perfect place to start her new life.
Equipment and Weaponry: Because of the lack of money she posseses right now, she still wears the common desert garbs. Thick brown boots perfect for trecking through sand. Slimming black shirt and shorts perfect for stealth. To cover that is a sleeveless white coat with hood along with a set of goggles to protect her eyes from the sandstorms. Around her waist is a red sash tied along with various pouchs for holding items.
Her weapons consist of two short swords for most combat. A various amount of throwing daggers and small knives. Then there is the crystal dagger given to her from her former leader which hangs on a necklace tucked under her coat.
Talents: Trained in Martial Arts and Swordplay. Master of Stealth and Quick Reflexes. Good aim with throwing knives. Agile and light on her feet.

Erica's home lies more on the outskirts of Boken-ka village, though she is rarely found there. If not running work for one of the few guild halls she associates with, she can almost always be found in on of the taverns, drinking the other patrons under the table. She's made more than enough coin doing this.

When first joining the Adventurers Guild, Erica wasn't much for a bow or for drink. In fact, she was pretty helpless in most everything she did, and still is to a point. It wasn't until she decided to join the Adventurers Guild that her talents bloomed.

She started out working the dinning room until one day the fates saw fit to use her to stop a group of bandits that had been terrorizing the village. With accuracy she didn't even know she had, she threw various objects striking each one and knocking them out cold. She had been celebrated that day, but the highlight was that the leader had seen it and she began training with the bow at his insistence.
Equipment and Weaponry: Erica's clothing often can't be seen too well under the hide overcoat her mother had made for her when she went out hunting. When she is in the guild hall she dresses in pretty skirts and an apron so that she may help work in the dinning room. She also utilizes a few shiny baubles that she either finds or buys with her money. You would almost think she was two different people. When she isn't armed with a tray carrying meat and mead to waiting guild members she takes up the oaken bow and arrows that her father had left behind. That, paired with her twin dagger that she hides in her boots completes her ensemble for her hunting.
Talents: Erica is a Hunter. She prides herself on being able to track nearly anything. Her skill with a bow is unmatched, or so she boasts. Many people agree that her skills are... otherworldly.

If a person were to look at Shiro all they would see is a shy, quiet and cute girl which they should Shiro couldn't hurt a fly she mostly keeps to her self not talking to many people. She has a hard time trusting people because of her past and so had very few friends. The one friend that she had was her self or to be exact her other personality this personality like to be called Uma she is almost exactly the opposite of Shiro if a person were to look at Uma well idk what they would see because anyone that may have seen her is dead so you will have to use your imagination.
shiro had one of the stereotypical drunken father childhoods every day her father abuse her blaming her for her mothers death and anything bad that happened to him he wasn't dumb he wouldn't do anything that would leave a mark. Because of this she formed a second personality called Uma it became her one and only friend and would protect her from her dad at first Uma would simple trade places with Shiro so that she wouldn't have to feel see or think about what was happening to her. Slowly Uma started to do more than just that she started to fight back and Shiro had no idea she would jsut wake up in her bed Uma slowly got more violent she killed there father. When Uma was fighting with her father one day she ended up garbing a knife that fell on the ground and stabbed him right threw the heart he died almost instantly that was about 5 years ago after Uma killed there father there only option but to leave her town and so she traveled around for about 5 years till Shiro found out about a guild in Boken-ka since they couldn't go back to there town they decided to see what this guild was all about.

Equipment and Weaponry sad unusually designed) silver Short sword. Gauntlet of the Minotaur King(gives the user the strength of a minotaur with that one arm). simple white silk clothes with a matching white cloak covered in blood stains, white flower hair pin above her right eye journal of every monster they have seen in there 5 years of travel .
Talents:Shiro has no real talent other then being cute and her photographic memory were Uma is very experienced in close combat with both her hands and swords is a very good strategist she is very well known for her reactive fighting.(Uma can only be in control of there body for one hour a day)

Name: Fall Blu (formerly known as Farrah Chanda)
Age: 24
Height: 5’8
Weight: 150 ibs
Sex: female
Description:
User Image
Farrah.Tan complexion.Aqua bblue eyes and bright blue hair.
Farrah hails from a now extinct city of people, the people of Mal’ik of the most southern most plains. These people worshipped a demon in the guise of a god. Her parents were clerics to this god. Because her and her parents were part of this clerical class, Farrah was anointed with a special birthrite; the mark of their god; the black diamond on her forehead. People who bared this blessing were given increased intuition and spiritual awareness, able to see spiritual aura of others and the spiritual residue they would leave behind.

She lived a happy life, spending her days studying their culture’s theology and magic and playing with the other children. But one day when she was about nine years old their god had turned on them. Soon famine and sickness had spread like afog over their city.People began to blame the clerics for angering their god .In the decay people began to hunt down all who bared the black diamond.

Only Farrah and her mother managed to escape. They settled in a harbour town called Porthavan where Farrah’s mother continued to teach her how to use her senses and the study of magic. Though the woman would rather forget everything about her people and their madness, it was impossible to since she and her daughter were marked for life. Though she had tried to raise Farrah to live a peaceful life, her daughter fell in love with the idea of adventuring. She began going out on ‘hunts’ tracking the lifeforce of rabbits and catching them.

At 16 Farrah offered her services to a band of adventurers and accompanied them to an abandoned bandit’s treasury. She had escorted them through safely, even saving a member from a deadly trap. They split some of the riches with her but Farrah was mostly interested in a beautiful blue scarf, it was teeming with spiritual energy as if it were a living thing. Farrah began using the garment as a proxy for her magic and she began to refer to herself as Fall Blu the magician. With her earnings she had bid her mother a tearful goodbye and began her career as a journywoman.

Equipment and Weaponry:
Fall’s armour is light as the bulk of her defence lies in her metamorphic scarf. She wears black leather chaps and black leather boots that are meant more for agility. She wears a thin linen shirt under her leather coat. She wears leather bracers and straps for her hands and wrists.
Her scarf, whether it’s in the form of a scarf, cloak etc.
Her dagger, strapped to her thigh
Spell book/journal, mostly just ideas an practices she’s concocted
A good length of rope
A satchel of gold of course
And a bag to carry all of it in.

Talents:
Aura-reading and Aura tracking- because of her aura reading abilities it makes it easy for Fall to pick up trails..She sees the energy around others and the traces of it people leave behind as they move from place to place. She can also see disturbances in people’s aura which could mean sickness, distress, hostility etc.
Transformation and teleportation magics- these skills are not rare to the clerics but Fall is very proficient in it with help from her proxy.Fall can teleport short distances with a wave of her cloak. She can take others along with her as well if they are holding onto her scarf.Because of the high magic capacity of her scarf she is able to transform it into large prehensile claws, tendrils, clubs and spikes for combat and sheilds for defence The reach is medium range, the scarf is only so big after all.
Fall is a rather cunning and veracious fighter overall but her main talents lie in her tracking and navigation. If you have a soul you won’t be able to hide from her for long.

Age: Twenty-two
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 204 lbs
Sex: Male
Description:
User Image
Caeden was born of a 'Demonic' race. However, grew tired of being 'protected' and everything 'given to him' and eventually left his 'clan' in hopes of searching for what freedom he could find. He adventure through different villages and through dungeons in order to find what he was looking for. Of course, this didn't mean that Caeden hated his Demon race, he is just as protective to them as he would be with his parents. Because of this treatment Caeden had grown into a man with a lean build and a calm, silent and collected personality.

Not really the type to talk to those who he doesn't trust or, rather strangers unless spoken to. Caeden had also grown to have a 'trust issue' due to his Demon side because many would want to hunt him down for a 'prize'. This causes Caeden to be wary of everyone and anyone. He eventually stumbled on hearing about a new capable Adventure Guild in Boken-Ka village, thus he ventured his way to the village, wanting to join a guild that was strong enough to tackle the dangers with him.

Equipment and Weaponry:
Talents: During 'pinch' moments Caeden's eyes will also shift red believed to happen because of his 'demon side' reacting to his tight situations.

Telekinesis - Caeden is able to control his swords to his liking, though only for a limited time, they appear invisible until attacked and acts as a shield for Caeden. Because it is only able to be used for a limited time Caeden usually avoids having to use it unless it's an emergency, he usually wields one of his swords.

Description:

(Meant to be read from the point of view of Nnoitra Kuzuki)
"Honor, fame, love... none of that stuff really matters. It's people like me who do the dirty work for those who sit high and mighty on their throne of wealth, and stare down at us, as we try to lick the dirt from their boots. My father was never a rich man, he got by by adventuring out into dangerous areas, and became well renowned for it. He never discovered anything worthwhile, he only got himself nearly killed enough times for people to finally notice him." He pauses, inhaling a deep breath of smoke from his cigarette, and exhaling deeply. "Do you want to know what my father got for all of that? Money?" He pauses, waiting for you to respond before interrupting with a loud buzzing noise. "You're wrong, he became an alcoholic and lived on the streets until the day he finally died. The poor old b*****d could have all of the free booze he wanted, and that's exactly what he got."

"See, I know exactly how to climb to the top of the ladder in this world, man. You have to seize opportunities as they fly at you, and if you're too damn slow for the opportunities the world is throwing at you, than you have to think that you only have three strikes until you're out." Nnoitra smiles, looking down at the ashtray on the table, before looking back up and continuing. "You want to know how to get to the top in this world? Look at the men who live in the nice houses with the beautiful wives and all of those fancy things, and tell me what they have in common." He pauses, smiling again. "They're all rich. Do you know how people like you and I get rich?" He laughs oddly, in a slow and monotone manner. "We have to adventure into the great world of the unknown!" He says with sarcastic enthusiasm in his voice.

"It's bullshit. Every last word you hear coming out of the mouths of the media, it's complete and utter bullshit. My life was no better than the next man's as a child, I had a lonesome mother and a father who was never there. I wanted to be an astronaut when I grew up!" Nnoitra looks down, changing his position, lost in his own thoughts for a brief moment. "But, just look what I'm left with. The memory of a once-great-man, and the old feeling of stale pride. But this will change everything." He motions towards the door of the guild, before putting out his cigarette.

Equipment and Weaponry: Dual claw blades passed down from his father, one whose name is Shock, and the other whos name is awe. They are sharpened, but do not hook at the ends, as traditional claw blades do. The blades retract, which allows him to hide them well under his jacket. Nnoitra also carries a charm he has from his childhood, as he believes it brings him better luck while he is adventuring.

Talents: Able to take a lot of punishment i.e he has been hit by vehicles and has walked away on his own.
Generally is very intimidating due to his appearance and his family's history.

Personality/Other:
He is very independent, and does not talk in public unless asked to by someone who is leading his group, which doesn't happen often. Nnoitra usually wears his hood up and his sleeves down, as to hide his weapons and tattoos.

Malak is from a powerful empire in the deserts to the west. He grew up in a fairly poor family., at the age of eight his parents were killed by a bandit raid on his village, his village was burned down so he was forced to move to the capitol city of Al-Laca where for the next two years he had to live on the streets. At the age of ten, he was taken in by a revolutionary group that planned to assassinate the King. For the next 8 years these revolutionaries trained him in all manner of combat, stealth, and persuasion.
On his 18th birthday, he was the one chosen to assassinate the King. He and 10 others entered the palace, he went for the King and the others went for the heirs. He managed to kill the King, but the others were found and killed before they killed the heirs. He was forced to flee Al-Laca to a small village on the outskirts of the Empire where he stayed for year until the Kings oldest son was crowned, the new King issued an incredibly large reward for Malak's head forcing him to flee the Empire all together. He thought his troubles were finally over, but the King had hired mercenaries to chase him where ever he went, forcing him to stay on the move. He stayed on the move for two years until he found Broken-Ka. It was far from his old land that he was sure no one, or at least almost no one, would know about his past, and also far enough that the mercenaries wouldn't chase him there, or at least he hoped. Hoping to start a new life, he heard about an Adventurers Guild and he figured that would be a good place to start his new life as it would keep him on the move.
Due to his poor upbringing, he has a strong affinity for the poor, and a natural disdain for royalty and the rich, that was strengthened by his time with the revolutionaries. Despite all that he's been through, he's very light hearted and soft spoken, and it's rare that he takes things seriously, but when it really counts he can get serious.
Equipment and Weaponry: A reinforced wooden walking stick with iron end caps, an old scimitar. He has a travel scarf that he either wears a face cover or a head wrap. He also carries with him an old leather satchel that hold all of his possessions. Though he's not particularly poor, he prefers to wear his old ethnic clothing, which at this point is filled with patches and stitches from his traveling. He also has an old tobacco pipe that he often smokes.
Talents: He's very athletic and agile and is very, very good at climbing. He's also very skilled in hand to hand combat as well as stealth.

Name: Laelia Asturias
Age: twenty-six years old
Height: five feet and four inches
Weight: one hundred and fifty pounds.
Sex: Female
Description:
User Image
She was born in a port city known as Azure Bay, which was the import capital for the nation of Seren. Her mother was a waitress in the local café and her father was one of the dock workers. Needless to say, the family did not have much more than the essentials. It was a very happy life because she and her siblings were loved. Her magic manifested in a spectacular way at the age of four which subsequently resulted in her education with the Althean Clerics. In Seren, Althea is a major goddess and her clerics are skilled healers and mages. While there are other deities that teach the art of magic, Althea is the best for those gifted with healing abilities.

From the age of four until she turned eighteen Laelia studied everything the clerics had to teach her. She was quite adept in magic but lacked the desired proficiency in weaponry. Like many other Althean clerics, she is not allowed to openly attack others. She is merely allowed to defend herself if the need arises but must remain merciful. Laelia was a temple healer until very recently. She had begun to desire to see more of the world. With the blessings of the high priestess, she boarded the first ship she could gain passage on. The long months at sea were dull and uneventful. Laelia reached the shores of a land new to her. After a few days of wandering and spending nights in foreign temples she eventually found herself in a town known as Boken-Na. Rumor has it there is a new adventurer’s guild. Every new guild needs healers of talent.

Equipment and Weaponry: Cleric robes both ceremonial (pictured) and standard, a wooden staff made of pine, a small quartz crystal on a leather cord, a very small coin purse.

Talents: Her strength is in her abilities in magic though her main areas of expertise are in healing and defensive spells. She is no goddess and has limitations to what she can do; after all, even magic users can grow weary and magic cannot solve every problem.

Description:

Selina is a part of the long family line of Blackmoore. Blackmoore's family appears to be a set of your usual snobby nobles, but the truth is more sinister, for hidden from the eyes of commoners, the family practiced dark magics. Selina was no exception, and when she became twelve she began to train in demonic arts. She showed natural affinity for it, and her father was proud of her. Selina however, felt that her father was holding him back, and that she was capable of so much more. But she learned just how dangerous magic she was dabbling with when she accidently summoned an arch demon into the city, which killed her father when he tried to contain it. The demon was finally banished and the family was able to cover things up. Ashamed by her actions and the guilt of her fathers death made Selina to make a vow. She would become a true master of fel magic and surpass her father, and thus she left, eventually making her way to the guild.
Equipment and Weaponry:
A jagged dagger=Since she is not trained in physical combat, this is used as a last resort. She however, does use it in her magic.
Talents:
She can use Demonic magic, which is pretty sinister in it's nature. It can be used to summon demons, create demonic fire, curse enemies or literally suck the life out of them. She is not an expert, and thus practices and studies a lot. She can also read demonic and runes, and is a decent alchemist.

The Dead Shall be Left to Rest (Status- Completed)

A local business man(anonymous) has given the guild word of a group of grave robbers that have been desecrating a graveyard just north of Boken-Ka. He believes the the gang to consist of approximately four members. While he cannot positively identify these individuals, he believes they were once part of a group of pillagers known as the Sky-Hawks, a blood thirsty dessert gang (Jing I used your story line pirate ). Since his family tomb is located in this graveyard, he is offering decent recompense for the prevention of these robberies. While this isn't necessarily an adventure, and more or less a bounty, It will be good exposure for the guild. All who wish to attend please sign the sheet located in the guild common area on the first floor.

Cheers,

Penn-dragon round –up (Status- Not Completed)
Penn-dragon round –up

Ayola Mooncrest is a prominent Penn-dragon breeder and is known for breeding and training some of the fastest running and flying Penn-dragons in the sport. Penn-dragon racing is a very popular sport made famous by the cities up on the eastern mountains. Her Penn-dragons are always branded with her one of a kind crest. Recently thieves had broken into her stables at the base of the eastern mountain range and though they were apprehended some of her young Penn-dragons had escaped. Untrained Penn-dragons can be dangerous when this young.

Fortunately they are still learning to fly but they can run as fast as any equine and can glide very short distances. There are three missing dragons, Ayola will pay a great sum for each lost dragon that is returned to her, dead or alive, however she will pay more for the safe return of each dragon.

She gave me some extra information on them. Their names are Ariety, Krocka, and Hanjo they might answer if we call and are most likely still to the east of here (probably giving the farmers there a hard time might I add). Penn-dragons at this age are about the size of ponies (standing about 4-feet tall with a 3-foot long tail) with a devastating bite, clawed kicks that could slice heads off of bodies, and not to mention their tails are extremely powerful. This is why not anyone should attempt to catch one of these rogue dragons and that’s why she wants to make sure they’re not running around. All we need to do is bring three baby dragons back home to their mother to the east of Boken-Ka!

If you're reading this, the post has already been stuck on the board! Sign up quick! I'd like to leave A.S.A.P!

The Forgotten Kings Love (Status- Not Completed)
The Forgotten Kings Love

a man with pitch black eye came to the guild wishing to speak to Shirouma but at that time she was not at the guild and so he simply hands the person that answered the door a map with a x on it and tells them 'your a part of her guild so ill just give you this and when she gets back tell her that Beckett found another one of the old kings treasurers and that it will be somewhere inside the old dungeon marked on this map.' And like that as soon as he came he left.

As for this dungeon it is about two days walk to the west from Broken-Ka. Not much is know about it only that it is what is left of a old underground castle of a king from a long time ago that once ruled over all the land to the west of this castle.

He gazed with his uncovered eye across the village. The air was so warm and carried the sweet notes and smells from the local bakeries. Rhynne's life had remained pretty uneventful until he had arrived at Boken-Ka. Sailing was the one thing he appreciated from his former life, Rhynne was nothing of his normal self when on the water. Most of his adolescence was spent training and conducting the features of "proper living." He rarely missed home, he rarely missed his family...most of them anyway.

Rhynne's pondering was interrupted by a single figure making their way down the nearly deserted street. Excitement rose within him quickly, "I think we may have our first member" he said aloud to himself. He took a moment to observe the newcomer as the drew closer to the guild house. He determined that although her appearance was quite "tom-boyish," her frame gave hint that she was a woman. This mattered little as Rhynne's family was composed of many women who were more than adequate fighters. A closer look at her exotic clothing gave him the impression that she was from a different culture and climate, he guessed somewhere expansive and fickle. Since most of the area far west of here was desert he thought that was a safe assumption.

"I suppose i should make some sort of entrance." Looking to his left he noticed that the roof sloped off at and angle that would take him to the street. Being on the third floor, it would have seemed foolhardy for a normal man. Rhynne placed one hand on the stone guard rail and lifted his legs over, allowing them to land on the roof. Tilting his feet slightly to the right allowed the metal plates he had custom fitted to bring him into a slide down the slick roof. After a couple seconds he reached the edge and tumbled gracefully into the street.

"Hello!"

Jing Shizuko
The Crystal of the Vippers

The young silent figure making her way through crowded areas was the former bandit Jing Shizuko. She only been in Boken-ka two days and she already hated all the noise of the main streets. It's too crowded. She thought with her hood covering her face. She can already see the town had its own share of pickpockets and thieves. It made her miss home, miss her family, miss him. She sighed slightly as she ducked her way into a tight alleyway to get away from the noise. She was on search, a sort of mission to find this new guild in town. It was going to be her new home until she went back. Back to the desert and seek vengenence on the Sky Hawks.

As she rounded onto the street of the guild, she fiddled with the crystal dagger tucked under her coat. She could remember him once talking about the crystal dagger years ago. Promising her one day it will be hers to keep. The crystal dagger is the mark of the leader of the Desert Vippers. But they are all but dead except her and she was sure the Sky Hawks were looking for it. Don't worry. I will protect this with my very life. I promise. Her thoughts were interrupted as she saw a man tumble into the streets. Reflexes kicked as she pulled out one of her short swords and jumping back a little.

Her dark grey eyes glared at the man as he shouted "Hello!". She glanced over the guild house then back to the young man. Is he... She eased her form up a little but kept her short sword infront of her. "This guild yours?" She didn't dare move any closer to the guild house until she was sure he was a part of it. Although if worst come to worst, she could just slit his throat then ditch town. She had been traveling for awhile, it couldn't hurt to travel more.

Rhynne's uncovered eye narrowed as he gazed upon the drawn blade. He immediately relaxed his expression as he let go of a coy smile. "oh wow you carry yours the same way i do!" he flexed his hand away from his body and a short blade the size of his forearm shot out of his coat sleeve. Then in the blink of an eye it was gone. "There's no need for weapons though, I was hoping you could come inside, rest a little bit and maybe have something to eat." He smiled again, casting warm eyes at the weary newcomer. "I know you have to be exhausted, it looks like you've come from quite far away. Oh! and yes the guild is mine."

Rhynne rotated his body and extended his right arm as if opening a gate for her to walk through. "join me." he said warmly.

The Crystal of the Vippers

Jing had tensed her body slightly when the man drew own sword. She was ready strike before he tucked back away. From the tone of the man's voice, it seemed he meant her no harm. He asked her to come in rest and maybe eat something. The sound of food sounded nice to her seeing as she hasn't eat anything since she got into town. And he was right on the mark knowing that she has come far away. It's seems these clothes of mine stick out here. But it can't be helped. The expression on the man's face was warm and inviting, kind of like him when he was with her. He always wore a warm expression around Jing. She was just like his daughter and he treated her as such as well as a member of the Vippers.

She sheathed her sword as he welcomed her into the building. She tugged at her hood of her coat. The sunlight was bright as she walked over to the young man. She kept one hand ready just in case he tried anything. Everyone in this world is an actor, you just have to find which one is you can trust. Its was some of the words he taught her back then. She couldn't trust the man, not yet anyway. Like welcoming a newcomer into the gang, you have to earn your trust. How long will it take for you to earn mine? She stepped into the building awaiting whatever came next.

The door opened to reveal a dimly lit hallway. To the left was a staircase leading to the second floor. To the right was a barren room, aside from the dinning table that sat directly in the middle. Pinned to the table was a detailed and intricate map of the surrounding land. At a closer look one would see the hours of work put into its design, as if someone had been adding to it for years. further down the hallway was a door. It was slightly ajar and the light that spilled out of the space was quite contrasting to the lighting of the hallway.

Rhynne made his way down the hall, leading his new guild member. "Just ahead is the Kitchen, feel free to help yourself. I'm making beef stew at the moment, kind of my specialty. Upstairs on the second floor are the dormitories, and above that the training area. I can give you the tour later, you should relax for a bit. Oh! and I never caught your name, actually now that I think about it i haven't introduced myself either, what terrible manners...I'm Rhynne, of the Nautilus family, well slightly removed i suppose."

Jing stood in the hallway for second to let her eyes adjust to the dim lighting. She removed her hood showing her short dark silver hair. She listened intently to the man's sort of layout of the building. When she heard about the Kitchen, thought of food was quite appealing. But she passed on the idea for now at least. She headed to the table with the map and took her a seat. She was staring intently at the desert portion of the map. This silly piece of paper can never truly note the size of the desert. She knew all the ends and outs of the desert like the back of her hand. It almost made her want to go back to the harsh desert she grew up in. But she can't knowing the Sky Hawks are still searching for the crystal dagger.

She snapped out of her daze long enough to hear the guild leader's name, Rhynne. She glanced up from the map to look at him. "Jing. Jing Shizuko is my name." She leaned back into her chair relaxing her body. All the traveling took its toll on her. Even running around in the middle of a sandstorm didn't tire her out this much. She glanced over at Rhynne before closing her eyes for a bit. "If you want to learn about me now's the time. But yourself first, Rhynne." She could guess that he was curious as to why someone from the desert would come so far east. But she had her reasons as much as why he has his own to start a guild. She just started relaxing back in her chair waiting for any sort of response.

He thought for a moment. Trying to gather some interesting features about himself. Being a member of his family had nearly taken all of his desire to talk about himself, he sometimes forgot that this was a normal formality. "Well, I come from a far away village--," he stopped and adjusted his sentence, "just a normal everyday town. I left when I was young and traveled the world. I've been a nomad for about twelve years now, learning skills and what not. I saved money and eventually bought this place." He tasted the lie on his tongue, it tasted foul. He didn't enjoy bending the truth, but he had learned at a very young age that telling people who he really was gave them a different point of perspective. His family was mostly looked at as a hierarchy of snobs and over-taxers. Most people would also assume that he was wealthy and either treat him differently, or attempt to take advantage of him. The truth was that he wanted nothing to do with the family that had sheltered him from the world, he wanted none of their wealth, and only took enough to fund his travels.

"By the way, I haven't traveled the desert much. I can tell you have a few reservations about that part of my map." He removed his overcoat and placed it lazily on a hook nearby. Underneath he wore a simple sleeveless shirt, his bare arms were long, slender and almost completely covered in tattoos. These were Rhynne's most priceless possession. Each one represented a different place he had traveled, each one represented a different challenge he had overcome. His favorite rested on the upper half of his right arm. It was the image of a brilliant ship, sails exploding across the sky, sea water being torn by it's razor-like bow.

Jing Shizuko
The Crystal of the Vippers

Jing listened to Rhynne as he claimed to come from a normal town then traveled around the world til he started the guild. She could tell that it wasn't the whole truth but she could understand. She had somethings she didn't want to say much about the Desert Vippers that much. She lifted her hood over her head as she sat back in her chair. "My parents abandoned me in the desert when I was born. I was raised by a traveling group that lived there. I left a year ago to find my own path." She smirked a little under the hood seeing as she gave back half a story as he did.

She filled with the crystal dagger underneth her coat. She watched him take of his coat revealing his arms covered in tattoos. He mentioned that he didn't travel the desert that much at all. She frowned slightly and sadly as she glanced at him. "Right now it's not the best time to visit the desert. A gang called the Sky Hawks took over the desert side around the time I left. And they are out for bloodshed..." Her voice trailed off a little bit as she stared at the map. She knew the exact spot where the raid onto the Vippers camp took place one year ago. She had sworn revenge against the Sky Hawks for what they did. And she planned on keeping it but as of now she wasn't ready. She didn't know when she would go back but she would one day.

"ANSWER ME!" A roar echoed through the woods as birds flew out of the treetops to escape the loud noise. People far away enough to not get involved and other who were close enough to listen kept their distance from the yelling woman.

The woman was next to a tree, her eyes narrowing at the base of the trunk as if the root grew wrong and it pissed her the ******** off. However it was just a karasaad, a Qunari warrior, who was sent to hunt her down. He was bleeding and beaten, but not broken. His eyes held a monotone feeling as if the pain and scar tactics didn't phase him, a brave action for the Qun. "Ataash varin kata (in the end lies glory," groaned the man as he looked upon her with her staff-blade aimed as his throat.

Another roar boomed in forest as she quickly swiped her blade across his chest to cause pain and she brought it up again. "Ashkost kata (you are seeking death)!?" The woman asked in a loud voice as she breathed heavily, attempting to enhance her fear. "If you do not, then I suggest you tell me how many other Qunari there are!"

"I am one of the body, there are thousands after you for in our b-" The karasaad reasoned until he was cut off by the blade through his neck. His head hung partly off his neck as his life-liquid quickly splattered on the trunk and around him.

His death wasn't satisfying to Valdis. No matter how many assassin's she killed, how many throats she cut, or how much blood is spilled it would change the face of her future. Her fate is sealed.

As she put away her staff behind her back she started to search the body for anything useful. She spotted some gold, which she took, and grabbed some potions before abandoning her interrogation spot. It was time to move on and make sure she would stay out of the path of more Qun-followers. She wasn't sure how many others there were, but all she knew that as she walked on the wooded path that she couldn't afford to stay.
