He knew he got many stares because of his features. Of course, he had hoped no one had noticed his race, as soon as people learn of his race they usually react in a way where he would rather prefer to have kept it a secret. His eyes scanned his surroundings in a wary way. After arriving in the village he had received some weird onlookers' stares, as if they weren't used to see stranger. Caeden sighed as he shifted the hood of the cloak he was wearing, even though it wasn't to keep him warm, but rather to hide his facial features away from the needy, staring eyes.

His eyes flashed red as his demonic side was reacting to the 'uncomfortable situation' he was in, one of his fingers flicked too, activating his telekinesis and having his swords surround him, cloaked in their invisibility. He knew he was being way too cautious but you never knew, someone could attack him any second for the race he was born in.

He sighed before disappearing through an alley way, his eyes catching the sign that said 'Dension Alley' before he looked straight towards a decent sized looking building. Caeden's eyes narrowed as he could see the wolf's head decal clearly from where he was. He glanced behind him to see if anyone followed, seeing that no one did he deactivated his telekinesis before knocking on the wooden door, his other hand clutching the piece of parchment he had brought along.

Erica stood there, shocked with eyes wide at how this man, who she had only recently met, could already know her name. She quickly reasoned that he had asked the Hunter's Guild Master about her. Or maybe he was one of the many patrons she had to serve while she worked there as a serving girl. It mattered little at this point. "Alright then, Since I guess you used my name first I'll be the one to go first." Her voice was much more full of confidence then her size should allow.

"As you probably guessed, I'm an archer. Then it is a good thing we are in the Archery Room. With one fluid motion, Erica unslung the bow from it's place on her back and began stringing it with an eerie blue colored string while the others moved out of the way. When the tightness had been fixed she took her place at the near end of the room, facing the targets. Even strung, the bow looked much too large for her.

In place and ready to go, Erica reached back once more and produced a arrow from her quiver. The shaft was an eerie blue that did not look artificial. One end was tipped with a sharp arrowhead and the other with a white feather. She brought the arrow up to the bow string and notched it. With two fingers, she began pulling the bow-string back toward her, her muscles visibly tensing as she did so. However, instead of stopping near the bridge of her nose, she stopped about a tenth of the distance. Anyone with any archery sense would tell you that there would be very little power in a shot like that.

With a small exhale, Erica loosed the arrow. It flew fast and true into the center of the target with an audible "whop." She repeated the process twice more in rapid succession as she struck the same spot again and again. Both time's also gave an audible indication that they hit and were in it to stay. Satisfied, Erica lowered her bow and began to unstring it. While she did so, she heard a knock coming from downstairs.

Jing Shizuko
The Crystal of the Vippers

Jing heard Rhynne step into the room where her eyes followed him to to greet everyone. He introduced the archer as Erica and the mage as Fall. Then he motioned over to her introducing her before giving a little wink. She just adjusted the hood of her overcoat as she listened to Rhynne continue to speak. He said there was already a mission on the board down stairs. Interesting... Then he asked if they could show their skills a little bit as an introduction. I can't yet, I haven't told him my true past yet. So I have to leave. She silently made her way to the stairs without attacrting any attention from anyone.

In truth she was more interested in the mission on the board. She headed down to the common grounds to look at it. She glanced over the mission when she saw a name she was very familiar name. It seems that the some parts of the Sky Hawks have parted ways since she left. Some members of the Sky Hawks made it this far away... She reached for the crystal dagger and clutched it tightly. She smiled a little and before looking at the board again. "Time for some revenge." She was about to head back up stairs to Rhynne to ask about the mission when she heard a knock on the door. She walked towards the door and opened to see a young man standing there. In his hands was a piece of paper similiar to the one she had when she found this place. "Are you here to join the guild? The guild master is upstairs if you will follow me." She let him and closed the door behind her as she motioned up the stairs where she started up them leading him into the training area. She then propped herself against the wall again waiting for a chance to talk to Rhynne about the mission down stairs.

"Excellent!" Rhynne let out a chuckle as he watched Erica's display. He walked over to the target and tugged on the the the shaft of one of the arrows. It was deeply embedded and Rhynne found it quite satisfactory. "You will be a fantastic addition to our team. I tend to fight up close and prefer to have a long ranger fighter behind me that I can trust. I've gotten arrows and daggers in my back more times than I prefer to admit, Sometimes from allies." Rhynne smiled again and peered at the door as it closed quietly behind Jing. He knew she was avoiding the performance, he wasn't surprised. In fact, he had made non-mandatory announcement on her behalf.

He turned to the fair skinned woman who had arrived after the other three. "Shirouma is it? I think i heard you volunteer to show your skills." He walked over to the left side of the room and knocked over a barrel with his foot. It hit the ground with a great thud and shook the floor. "This barrel is filled with solid concrete, but its a denser material than what this house is made of. It's about four hundred pounds." He kicked it again and it rolled like a boulder to the middle of the room. He then turned to Fall," feel free to go after her if you would like." He smiled broadly and took his post on the nearby wall.

He hadn't even nodded to confirm her question about whether or not he was here to join the guild but nonetheless he followed in silently, after all he was here to join the guild. Caeden glanced around the space as his eyes trailed on, noticing every little detail before turning his gaze back onto the girl in front of him. He blinked when they arrived to another room and there were other people here. He made no move to greet himself as he didn't really want to interrupt whatever they were doing so he leaned against the wall and crossed his arms and he observed them.

Sooner or later he'll introduce himself, but for now he'd rather observe them -- assuming that they were going to be part of the guild and people whom he would eventually be working with. His eyes flickered red for a second before returning back to their original color. His hood was still over his head as he preferred to be more in the shadow than the light anyway.

User ImageShrio walked over to the the barrel and knocked on it with there right hand 'Ya this should be good.' Shiro turned around to face everyone in the room 'Ok Uma your up.' Shiro then closed her eye for a second and when they opened her eye were dark green well it very nice to finally meet all of you in person now as for what I can do umm for the most part i am a pretty average human I am a very good strategist and well I am pretty strong.' She said as she turned around and bent down and put her hand under the barrel and started lifting it as if it was as light as a a feather she then started throwing it up in the air a little catching it as it came back down she did this for a few seconds then put it back down 'Now last but no least.' She said as she did a few arm stretches before slamming her fist down onto the barrel a few seconds later a crack opened in the middle of the the barrel and the it split opened the two halfs falling apart leaving to halves of a barrel filled with cement. Erica's eye's flittered over to the entrance to the room where Jing was escorting another person into the room. She kept one eye on the newcomer while she returned her bow to it's place on her back. By all appearances he looked to be rather normal. Then she noticed it. She had been trained as a hunter so no details escaped her watchful eye. Not even the red that flashed across his for less than a second could evade her sight. She knew 'he' was one of 'them.'

She scowled inwardly as she turned to watch this girl go next. Her eyes traced the girl as she lifted the barrel of concrete. Rhynne had said it weighed four hundred pounds and Erica was keeping an eye on her as well. Were her eyes different now? She couldn't tell having never gotten a proper look at her from the front before. Her thoughts began to work as she became suspicious.

One half od the barrel rested at Rhynne's feet. He nudged it slightly and returned his gaze to Shirouma, "Very good, it's apparent already that I've attracted some talented members. He noticed the newcomer walking through the door. He waited a moment before turning around, fixing his vision on Erica, who's reaction was very close to what he had expected. He had been observing Caeden since he had arrived at Boken-Ka. He had kept one of his crows surveying the perimeter of the village in order to prepare for arrivals. He noticed the way the townsfolk adjusted around him, keeping distance and removing eye contact. He was curious to see how the guild members would react to his arrival. He turned to Caeden to greet him finally, "hello Caeden, i'm glad you found the place okay, I am your guild leader Rhynne."

Fall Blu
Magician and huntress at your service

Fall grinned at the blonde’s rather cute disposition. Fall folded her arm over her chest and bowed to the lady like a proper gentleman, her cloack reeled up with her movent as if the the blue fabric was made of smoke. “Ah I see! Smaller animals, though less threatening can be the hardest to catch.” She commented recalling when she was younger, probably much younger than even the girl before her, spending her afternoons catching rabbits. “I see, hopefully it’s not something to viscious but then again that’s what guilds are for right?” she said with a shrug of her shoulderds.Fall laughed as she hastily introduced herself “It’s a pleasure Erica. You can call me Fa-“

"So glad you all gathered in the same place,"

Fall turned to see that chipper dark haired fellow who stared too much, erm, the guildmaster. He soon introduced himself fully He seemed to be a very experienced adventuere, perhaps with even more experience than Fall./ What he had said next made Fall’s eyebrows rise for a moment and wrinkled the black marking on her forehead.Wellt aht would explain the the easy entry into the guild, if she knew she was beign watched she might’ve put on a bit more of a show.Fall peered over to a very petit yet still rather mysterious figure.Stil staring t Jing Fall raised her hand up casually when the man introduced her, as if to sort of say hello.

Fall’s eyes lit up even more than they already appeared to be when he had mentioned they already had a mission lined up. She clapped her hands together “Oh goody!” she exclaimed, but then the coyly put a hand over her mouth as to not interrupt Rhynne as he continued to explain. She couldn’t help but grin like a monkey though, this was why guilds were so great, much better than the spotty work she had been doing for most fo her career as an adventuere/entertainer,hunter,escort,whatever-kept-her-fed-er.

Soon a rather statuesque woman in white (well almost white, her cloak seemed rather dirty) came in to join. Fall’s eyes fell on her as she noticed something ...peculliar about her.

She saw ...two different energies radiating off of her. One- the prominent one came rather gently in calm waves while the other seemed to fester as if stable now but...

Fall must’ve been the only person really watching her because when she vuluunteered it didn’t quite register with the guild master as the petit blonde stepped up to show off her skill.

It was quitte abeutiful bow the arrows were particularly beautiful to fall as perhaps it might have been obvious to guess why! It was quite amazing to see Erica in action—someone so young and petit being able to handle such a large weapon with such ease and precision was actually quite astounding. Fall actually clapped, she couldn’t help it. She really hoped it wouldn’t come off as sarcastic “That was incredible!” She chirped over Rhynne’s shoulder as he went over to congratulate her.

Soon it was the woman in white’s turn. She had mentioned before she asked for something something not even Rhynne could lift. So she has some sort of allotted strength. I wonder...if it’s that secondary aura.... Fall’s inkling seemed pretty correct because when the woman muttered something under her breath that secondary aura came pouring out, nearly over taking the lighter one until she could hardly make it out. She noticed a new presence and turned around to see another dark haired male and Jing standing in the back of the room. She stared at him for a good long while, eyes narrowing slightly before she looked away.

His aura...his aura was very upsetting to her. She would like to hate him for this..demonic aura she was reading from him. But she could only blame the tyrant who had helped end her people for so much. The rest of the evil...the rest of it was from her own people, humans could be just as evil as devils. Rhynne’s voice startled her and her arm flinched to nearly strike him. This would be the third time she had nearly punched him. “Sure why not.” She murmured watching with a large eyes as the woman in white did something fairly spectacular.

Hm, tough act to follow wouldn’t you say?

“I guess I’m up next.” She announced, nodding to the woman in white with a half-smile, her demeanor was completely different, this felt like a completly different person.

Fall walked out to the front of the training area and started her demonstration off with a bow “My skills a varied, perhaps you can call me a jack few trades.” She began straightening up as she grabbed hercloak she swept it in a rather theatrical manner appearing in the same bowing position next to the demonic fellow in the back before as quick as you could say ‘wooping owls’ Fall was back at the front of the room in an eerie gust of force. She bowed and straightened up again “I suppose you could also say I’m a battlemage of sorts.” She said, straightening up, and turning towards the target Erica had struck, as she turned her clack spile into two as if turning back into her scarf before the sharper and two sweeping blades cut cleanly through the target leaving three wooden peices clattering to the floor. “I apecialize in transformation magics namely the transformation of this fellow but I suppose other things with high magical potential as well.” A hand of her scarf reached up and scratched the back of her head as she scrossed her arms and smiled “I can have the lightest touch or deadliest strike. Though I am not along ranged fighter so I’m very glad someone like Erica is around.I also have some spiritual intuitions that may be helpful in hunting down people, ghosts, and sometimes items but we can cross that bridge when we get there” she concluded “Now not to be rude buuut. You said guildmaster that we could use the resources here I’m hoping whatever is in your fridge covers that.” She said with alaugh.

Caeden, with his arms crossed and leaning against the nearby wall looked up slightly -- his hood still shadowing most of his face -- and nodded at the one who introduced himself as Rhynne, the guild leader. He didn't know what to expect, earlier he had felt the gaze of two of the girls in the room whom glanced at him in a way like they were observing him. He shifted his footing, a finger flicking ever so lightly and he could feel his telekinesis in the works still, of course his weapons were still invisible to anyone else.

He had hoped none would lose their control if the news of him being a 'demon' was let out. Not many people were a huge fan of his race and he couldn't blame them. But that also meant he was on high alert and defensive all the time -- concealing his face whenever he can and sticking to the shadows rather than the light. He glanced at the broken barrel and narrowed his eyes at it, it was split in half like it was nothing but it was filled with rock hard cement. Caeden made no move to comment though, he had assumed the girl was human but after this act it didn't seem like it. Maybe she was human but gained some powers of some sort to be so strong. Either way he merely observed the rest in the room -- making no move to acknowledge any of them or introduce himself.

Jing Shizuko
The Crystal of the Vippers

Jing had watched the feats of their skills with a watchful eye. Everyone in the room was going to a guild member she would have to work with. Escipally she was deciding on who she wanted to go with on the first mission. She looked over Erica's perfect shot with the arrow. She coul bet that her throwing skills with daggers could easily be on par with her skills. Then the white hair she noted as Shiro with ease lift a barrel on concrete and split in half. This even amazed Jing a little bit at her strength. Jing's figure was not meant for such strength but for stealth. She would make a very great ally or get on her bad side and killed. Then Fall took up her step saying that she was more than a battlemage her scarf turning to various weapons along a gust of wind Jing was familiar with. It didn't faze her in the slightest because she was use to powerful winds in the sandstorms.

With a single glance she looked over at the young man who Rhynne called Caedan who also propped himself against a wall. She felt something... off about him. She couldn't put her finger on it but she could tell that something was different about him. But she didn't dare to pry any farther but she was getting tired of waiting. She pushed back from the wall once more before looking at Rhynne. Her gaze said she wanted to talk him with a silent stare. She then moved over to the other training room where she proceed to talk off her overcoat revealing the slimming black short sleeve top and shorts. She wanted to get a little practice in before she faced the Sky Hawks again. She drew both her short swords and began to practice her swordplay. When Rhynne gets here... maybe I should tell him the truth. This mission he found... I have to do it... for the start of my revenge. The crystal amethyst dagger she held dear swung around her neck as she gracefully moved the swords around the room. She continued this practice while waiting for Rhynne to follow in to talk to her.

The commotion coming from the training room was pleasing to Rhynne. His new members we're already opening up to one another, and he could tell this particular group had a great range of skills. The ones who decided to give demonstrations of their skills we're promising, the ones who didn't...well he was that much more excited to find out. He clapped a couple of times and brought the room to silence. "very good, all of you. I can tell that there is a lot of talent here."

He tensed his fists and shifted a bit. "Now I guess it wouldn't be fair of me to make you demonstrate without returning the favor...as i said before i have a certain gift with the crows that you will no doubt be seeing a lot of." He walked towards the middle of the room, letting out an eerie whistle while he swayed. On the right wall were two open windows, outside of them the faint sound of flapping wings was growing closer. A split second later nearly two dozen crows came fluttering through the open space, bringing an abrasive sound like a black wave. Seconds later they were surrounding Rhynne, almost removing him from view. The crows moved to the other side of the room, and it seemed that he had disappeared. The swarm of birds converged again, and when they scattered Rhynne had reappeared as if carried by them. He immediately brandished his lance. What was before a plain steel spear had now become jet black and Forked. The lance was letting off a powerful dark energy, and when Rhynne swung it in a full circle, what appeared to be black flame erupted from the blade. Despite the appearance of this sinister fire, the room seemed to fall into a chill. Fog was now covering the floor and all the lights had become dim. Rhynne shifted again and straitened up. The dim lanterns illuminated his figure. His skin had become grey, his eyes piercing yellow. The light made it hard to tell properly, but it seemed as though two black wings had grown out of his shoulders. Rhynne quickly replaced his lance, and as if someone had flipped a switch, the lighting in the room was back to normal. The fog had cleared and Rhynne, so it seemed, was back to his cheerful demeanor.

"Now, I'd say that's good enough for today. Please if you could all join me downstairs in the common area, we can discuss our plans for our first job...Oh! and don't forget to let me know which room you've chosen." He turned on his heel and made his way to the door. Moments later he had found Jing in the Melee training area. "I hope everything is okay, I saw you leave."

Jing had gotten a decent workout by the time Rhynne had arrived. She only heard the sound of his voice asking her if she was ok. She stopped in mid swing before relaxing her body. She sheathed the swords before turing to Rhynne, the crystal dagger's deep purple shine standing out against her black gear. "I checked the mission board down stairs. I have to do that mission no matter what." She walked over to her overcoat laying ontop of a barrel her back turned to him. If I am going to tell him the truth I best do it now. She took a deep breathe before she started.

"To tell the truth, I wasn't honest about my past. I was raised by the infamous Desert Vippers. They were my family to me and... they are all gone now." She turned around still not facing him directly before fiddling with the crystal dagger. "I'm the last one of the Vippers and it's next leader. And the Sky Hawks are the ones that killed them." She clutched tightly onto the dagger gritting her teeth. "The mission has some members of the Sky Hawks involved. I'm going to avenge my brothers, if it's the last thing I do." One single tear went down her cheek before she quickly wiped it away. She threw on her overcoat before looking Rhynne dead in the eye. "I'm taking this mission and I won't take no for an answer." Her voice was filled with determination and confidence. She only hoped that Rhynne would understand her reasoning.

"I have no intention of removing you from the mission." a silence crept across the room as he made eye contact with Jing. He was not surprised to hear about her past. He could tell from their first meeting that she was keeping at arms length. It made sense that this mission had clearly set a fire inside of her. "I do have one word of advice...or concern." He paused again, slowing his breathing. "Try not to let vengeance cloud your judgement. I understand your motivation here, but be careful not to let it completely consume you. At the same time, I will be there to assist you, and will do everything in my power to stop these people." Rhynne walked over to the window and peered out across the building tops. "We should do it tomorrow night"

INDENT Malak casually strolled down the streets of the village, his iron capped walking stick making a very distinct clinking sound as it hit the pavement. It was a fairly cool day, though he was particularly warm as he wore his travel scarf as a face covering, although he had been in town for almost a week already, he still thought it best to refrain from showing his face in public as much as possible. Though it was hidden, a smile was plastered onto his face, he was particularly happy today as he was finally seeking out this Adventurers Guild, he was finally ready to start his new life.

INDENTThe clacking of his walking stick on the road continued on for some way until he reached an intersection. He looked up at the sign, Denison Alley is read and Mal gave a small nod, this was the street. He turned down the street and immediately spotted a rather large building compared to the others and his hidden smile grew bigger, "This must be the place..." he spoke softly to himself. He hurried himself down the road to the door. He stood in front of the door and examined its wolf's head decal for a moment, he then took a deep breath, removed his face covering, and knocked on the door with his walking stick.
