And the reason it was all disorganized was because fate really is a lazy slag and never does anything for herself if she can help it.
And then Fate can visit later and be all like "oh-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho! How is everyone my pretties!" And shed her skin to be all, "you never knew it was me all along!"
