I am a fan in general of black red avatars, so you have that going for you :3
I would say 8.5/10.
Alternate wings could be used, (the wayward son series perhaps?) due to the pink hue as opposed to the red. Additionally, the root-sword-thing? causes the legs to be lost a little too much.

I think your eyes make the whole character look shy/bashful.
The only thing I would suggest(b/c I'm a color nazi) is that I would add some white around the

So about your avi i would say 7/10, it does match and look nice. Anyway i find it too simple, and the shoes and head accessory are not really what i would have chosen, try thin leg mod, and maybe more detailed head accessory and add some blue to remind the color of the skirt. To finish i would maybe add a necklace ^^

I like the theme... I think I would add something black in the head area to make the coloring more consistent throughout. Not sure what item it is but it's giving a bit of a dull mauve purplish color in the shoulder area. 8.5/10

Though the clouds fit the theme, they make it look cramped... Have you tried a simple moon as a BG? Your avatar has the pose to make it look as if sitting on it...
