Went to see "Wreck-It Ralph" last weekend, and I thought it was fantastic. One of my favorite Pixar movies thus far, and it was one of the best movies that I've probably seen in quite some time. Good animation and a great story line... Being a child of the 80's/90's, I also remember playing a lot of the games that they directly (and indirectly) reference in the movie, so there was a lot of nostalgia enjoyment for me as well.

i liked the movie and found it fun.its well worth seeing. The only issue i have is the lack of game references.a few more references wouldve made this a gaming version of roger rabbit.still it was a good flick

I'd agree with you there, Ronin. My only disappointment with the movie would have been that I was expecting more video game references throughout the movie. There's a decent amount, especially if you're looking for more of the subtle ones that are in the backgrounds (such as a lot of the characters you see at the station), but I had hoped there'd be a bit more incorporated into the movie.

Still, despite that some point, I'd probably still give the movie a solid "A" from me.

Exactly I hardly caught those references (didnt have my glasses with me when i saw the movie)
Still for what it is Ralph is a fun movie but I would give it a B+ the extra cameos wouldve given it an easy A

YES YES YES...I saw it. <3
It was hands down one of the best movies I have seen in this whole year. I was very pleased with it!

*Oh and John Dimaggio---Bender, Jake the Dog, Dr. Drakken, etc.--is a very minor character in the film, a security guy named Papa Beard. It made me so happy. xD

Oh oh and I wasn't able to record much of it but, I went to Shadocon today with a friend and we saw Egoraptor's panel AND DOUG WALKER. I was so happy. He ran after someone who yelled "BAT CREDIT CARD". whee

No, I am sad to admit that I've been pretty badly out of the comic loop the past several months. Is Marvel doing some sort of relaunch of their comics?

Heh, I caught that one as well, although had to do a bit of a double take on it. As they were breaking out of the factory and you hear Papa Beard talk, I was all like "Hey, that sounds like Bender!"... And it was because he was voiced by John. whee
