I get mine from Rightstuf. I got 12 manga for a little over $80. That's a good deal, considering that the last time I bought that many manga from a store, I spent $150. Plus, free shipping on any orders over $49. biggrin

Kawaii Shoujo

I buy my anime and manga at stores... but now that my family is getting Netflix I will be paying to legally stream anime.

There's a local anime store called Hammergirl, where I normally buy my merchandise from. But I used to be big on FYE. There was this really huge FYE location at a mall about twenty minutes away, and it had a massive used DVD section. It was like Portobello Road for me! You could find rare and out of print stuff at low, low prices! Then it's lease got bought out, and it had to close.

Now, Amazon.com is my Portobello road. I sometimes watch anime for free online, but only if it's either A: Out of print, and way too expensive on amazon or B: Not available in the states just yet.
local bookstores. don't buy often though. neutral

If there's a Japanese-American festival nearby, I like to go there and purchase manga there because they usually sell raw, untranslated manga there for a really cheap price (last time I bought manga at a Japanese-American festival, you could practically buy 8 manga for $2 because each manga was being sold for 25 cents). Only disadvantage is that it's untranslated, haha.
Usually online, definitely. smile

Handsome Hero

Book stores and websites, mostly.
Here and there I'll snag things at conventions, since sometimes you can find things there you can't find elsewhere.

We have a store in Sydney called Kinokuniya
It sells all sorts of asian merch and manga and magazines!
