I'm subscribed to both anime network and the funimation channel.

I used to buy DVDs at The Saturday Matinee but I haven't gone in a while and a few weeks ago I went back to the mall and I found out not only was The Saturday Matinee gone, but so was FYE! There wasn't a single place to buy DVDs in the whole mall. cat_surprised Probably because of the popularity of hulu and netflix. Kind of sad. Hell, when I went to Barnes & Noble the manga section was smaller and only filled with newer, I couldn't even find classic CLAMP stuff. But again I hadn't been there in three years and I guess a lot of new manga has been released and others out of print.

Now if I want to buy DVDs I have to go to conventions. Whenever I went to anime conventions I thought the booths in the dealer's room selling manga and dvds were pointless because I could get them anywhere, but apparently not anymore. : cat_surprised

My manga comes from thrift stores, yard sales, a small used bookstore (that sells some used and new comics since its also a comic bookstore), ebay (I bought some of gravitation off of there) and if I can get to it, whatever bookstore is at Polaris in Columbus oh.
We used to have a waldenbooks up where I live but it closed down so I now have to go 40-50 miles to a good new bookstore.
