Yeah, this is one of those very few times for me that this has happened in my town, it's usually more south.
The weather keeps going hot / cold / hot / cold too fast.
Usually tornadoes skip over our area and go into other areas, but I've not heard of one coming at my area before. sweatdrop

Stay safe as well, no tornadoes for you and everyone there!

Interesting, I've never seen a nuclear power plant in person, would probably be very freaked out.
Same as with hilly terrain and lots of trees.
I like my terrain flat and boring as heck! XD
Never seen cliffs and mountains and stuff IRL, so I've always thought... Just to be in a vehicle and seeing such looming things... It's so mind-boggling how people (who are accustomed to being near / on mountains) are like "meh" and I'm like "IT IS THE BIG SCARY THING." rofl

I don't remember if it ever snows in April, but I'm going to assume it's probably happened before and I just don't remember.
It's just that I don't want it! XD

Yeah, I've been hearing about flooding going on south of me (my hometown being an area) so I'm hoping it doesn't get too bad.
With more storms incoming and then days' worth of rain, it's worrisome.
Got some old acquaintances (my mom's work friend from decades ago, and her daughter and the grandkids) so we're hoping they all stay safe too.

What I bought my sister was a Jackery brand from Amazon.
There's different sizes for different uses.
Some can be used with vehicles, used for camping trips, appliances, and Amazon also has solar panels to be able to charge the Jackery if needed and if able.
They cost a bit of money now compared to what they used to, but when you catch them on sale, it can be good.
Haven't had to buy the solar panels for my sister (she lives in an upstairs apartment) so I can't say much for those.

I know.
Last night, tornado sirens went off a few times.
Thankfully, no tornado, but some downed trees and property damage (not my neighborhood.)

Then a few days ago, we had tornado sirens going off multiple times, had two downbursts that thankfully didn't turn into tornadoes, but those winds were intense.
We ended up with some mulch bits on our front porch, but we don't even have mulch in our yard.
Either it came from perpendicular to my block, or two blocks straight down the road, or across a field, behind some trees, where the housing edition is.
Couldn't imagine getting whipped with strong winds, hail, pouring rain, and mulch!
Tree damage during that one too, but again, thankfully not my neighborhood.

And the storm a few days before that one, there was actually a tornado in my county - also, thankfully, not in my neighborhood!
It touched down in the country, so thankfully there wasn't much property damage.
Somehow, almost as soon as it touched down and started making its way to town where me and my family live, it dissolved.
Pure lucky, but this is Indiana - part of Tornado Alley.
Just hoping the luck can continue. sweatdrop

Got more storms on Friday into Saturday, and supposed to get rain almost every day for a week - and then - snow!
Hoping we're not going to get "historic flooding" like the news is saying, because man...
Indiana in 2008 was bad.
Never in my life seen a flood like that before, don't want a repeat.
My town has multiple rivers and big creeks all over the place, and a lot of this town is low-lying.
So hopefully it doesn't come to that again.
If it does, at least my area's high ground so it doesn't get flooded, and my sister and her fiance have a power generator for emergency use. sweatdrop
