I have been reading non-stop this summer. At the moment, I am reading Neil Gaiman - Neverwhere. I have been reading a lot of Gaimans stuff lately, after coming off of a huge Stephen King spree. (I had to go back through all of SK's books, looking for DT refs.) I also love cyberpunk books, and Jane Austen and non-fiction about mysterious things. smile

I feel the same way about it. Also, it's like they are afraid to make cartoons for kids that don't want to watch Foster's or Powerpuff Girls, but aren't ready for Adult Swim. It's like it would kill them to make any more demented darkly humorous shows like Courage. My fiance made me watch that the other day and I felt like throwing my shoe at the TV. It's that bad. The movie does look cool though.
I haven't watched any anime On Demand in a long time.

Lazy Town isn't totally horrible. It's another one of those acid trip shows, but it's weird to watch. It's from Iceland and the characters are so weird, because only three are human and the rest are puppets.
The guy who made the show is like some big choreographer, producer, and kids book author. He also plays one of the main characters named Sportacus. I liked it too. Maybe it's because it's from Jim Henson Studios. I mean, they made characters for the Labyrinth and Dark Crystal. Also, Foster's is just really cool.
I would watch a show like that.
I've never heard of Red Garden.

Oh, crap. Dora the Explorer. The ONE thing I ever got out of that show was an annoying song to sing about baking a chocolate cake, but otherwise, it's pure crap. Now, I used to watch Teletubbies because it is so stupid I couldn't help but watch it. It's so frightening and is like something that a person would experience on an acid trip, but I DO NOT like the show. What do you think of Lazy Town?
The Wiggles are probably *****. I did sort of find it amusing that they had a flower eating dinosaur and a song about fruit salad though.

I think most of the shows are being made by either Craig McCracken or the dude who did Rocko's Modern Life. And unless it's Rocko's Modern Life, that s**t is terrible.
The nonsense crap they use now is not the good kin like Courage and weird alien duck things and creepy cats who wear masks.
