Aww, what happened? If you ever need anything, I'm here to lend a shoulder or ear :3 I'm just a bit worried about you. And it's alright to dwell on it and all, but I'm glad you're trying to stay positive, just don't stress yourself too much. You seem like you may be working too hard.
Barely surviving I guess? The worst things just have to overlap after one another, without giving me a break. But I'm hanging in there.

Aww D: Most of the quotes are my inner thoughts and feelings and some of them are my past memories with my brother ; U ;

I'm 17 and my brother is 18. If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? Yes, he is still family to me and most times, i don't even call him my gaia brother. he's just my brother, but sometimes people get confused, so i sometimes clarify that we're gaia siblings. haha, more? we're also besties forev if that's what you're talking about lol
I'm grateful and touched that you are sharing such a personal story with me ;; it reminds me that, i'm not alone and there's others doing worse than me. I'm very sorry for every sad and unfortunate event that had to happen to you, but, I'm sure those hardships and your perserverance has made you physically and mentally strong; and they build who you are of today.
I do feel like we have so much in common. Although we didn't meet each other long, I feel like we already knew each other for quite a while. Yes, long distance relationships, can really be painful and killing - any kind of relationship. Long distance relationships can really limit an individual's ability and ... in a way, their love that they want to express through actions and words to that other person. Dang, we totally have the say minds and ideas about life ; u ;
Yes, my family is really close to each other ..., and i did wanted to be very close with them when we were going through all that, but ... yeah, like what you said. they didn't felt the same way. maybe they did, but, maybe they felt like, they needed space and time to themselves; to overcome their self --, but i guess i thought differently. i wished i overcame all that with someone. i tried reaching out to my sisters, but they were always frustrated, especially with their first year of college and my parents, they were like... spiritless and yeah.
uh huh, i gotta agree on that ;; everyone is STILL growing up, no matter what age. -- it sucks how we didn't have the guidance, but, i think we found our guidance by ourselves ;; it's just that, when i found my guidance, and when the wave of problems is calm now, i feel utterly empty, always -- that's why, i still don't talk to people as much. that's why i'm volunteering. i'm trying to talk to all age groups. there's kids, adults (staff), teens (counselors) -- but i still find it hard. i just feel disconnected and i don't know how to explain it. ><

haha, it's so ironic how in the Chinese, there's a saying how the good-hearted people will have good luck.
but in real life, the bad-hearted/guys, usually are the lucky ones lol

PTSD? Is that like ... a mental illness? I remember that I use to have extreme depression, to the point where I always wanted to kill myself, but here I am, still alive.
Yup, yup 3nodding that's what i've been doing, that's actually the first reason why i'm volunteering - helping people makes me feel better and i'm hoping volunteering will help the process of healing. aww, that's so sweet of you to say, thank you emotion_hug

My brother ..., well, I guess it's alright to discuss it out here in the comments. It's not like anyone would actually read this lol
He was diagnosed with depression and he just couldn't handle it all; so he left me for a long time, but then, I was diagnosed with depression due to my mom having breast cancer, my grandpa getting into a car accident, my new-born cousin was deformed, financial problems (since my sisters were entering college), loneliness when i went through all that crap, my brother leaving me as he had depression, not being able to help my brother and more other problems. They just kept piling and the moment I needed him, he was down also. I was stressed out, I tried to help him, but I couldn't -- and things just got out of control, so he left. (btw, he's my gaia brother, not my real brother xDD) -- now, i mean, we're back together, it's just that ... when we talk, it's all different, since we both went through some tough stuff. sometimes, i feel like i'm those soldiers at war. they come back home, and they have a hard time connecting to people around them, or even speaking, since they went through so much stages in life that are too overwhelming and sensitive to talk about - isn't it call post-traumatic-stress? (sorry, my English is bad xPP English isn't my first language, lol) -- BUT YEAH, thanks a lot for letting me vent there sweatdrop

I have soo much markers and color pencils that i haven't used them up yet, except, most of the color pencils are so short from sharpening . ^ . and the sharpie that i use to outline is dying gonk

Some good memories I reflected was when my best friend in 5th grade hadn't left me yet -- he return to his homeland and he never came back. He was the one who got me interested in the Magic Tree House series 3nodding Some other good memories are just moments I use to had with my brother ;; my brother and I had been pretty distant lately, after what we've both been through ..., that's why I've been desperate for art of us -- I feel like, in a way, our bond is getting weak and I hope the art will relieve that feeling of mines. It was just too touching crying I had to tear -- but I'm alright now whee

Yeah, it's rare to find people who love traditional art as much as I do o: -- I'm crazily obsessed with them over digital art xDD
My real life sister does digital art on gaia and I've kinda been trying to prove to her that, traditional art is better than digital, but, you know, both kind of art styles are just as great! lol (I had to say that last part because so far, I have no success in proving that theory, lolol).
OH GOSH, for a sec, my hopes went high . /// . I thought you said you'll mail those art pieces to me xDD but then, I read back and I was like ... 'Oh ... ' emo
It would be like a dream come true if I could actually receive your art and other arts I received on gaia in the REAL-LIFE mailbox. I especially want the magic tree house art theme one redface it's just too perfect

Tbh, I love traditional art the most; it seems more, real and hard-working

I'll never forget drawing your avatars! It was my first time drawing a guitar pose model AND it was my first time drawing a model facing it's back 3nodding
