traditional?? jesus. I learnt how to draw digitally since art materials and such cost SO ******** much irl. I barely know how to hold a pencil LOL so props to you (and godspeed)

I feel the exact same way. especially since the majority of the characters that I like (and catch the interest of the masses) are... anime characters and my style tends more towards realism. you cannot draw an anime character realistically without them looking weird
and god, I know. I had my first experience with commissions weeks ago. it was exciting because I was actually getting paid but at the same time it was like "oh god, I'm not skilled enough for this"... it's all a mess. what's important is that you don't force youself, though. if it's something you like, take your time with it.

I do both personal and fanart, although fanart isn't as frequent. I need to get myself to do more fanart tbh I have too many characters I like...
I went on vaca and I don't remember how to draw anymore I s2g, I promised myself I'd open an art blog but I'm struggling to get one drawing done LOOOL
