But I didn't expect you to list Craig David, (I love him!) I feel like a lot of people forget he exists sometimes.
I had a listen to quite a few of Stevie Hoang's songs; I've heard his name before, but I wasn't all that familiar.
His voice is really beautiful > I especially like 'Listen to my Head'! What are your recommends?
I haven't met anyone who doesn't like Tablo and I'm a big fan of Simon D--! For my own, I'd probably add Jazzyfact, Beenzino + Zion. T.
You know, I had my reservations about BTS; I thought they would be really gimmicky.
But I think they're quite alright actually and definitely have a place in the industry; looking forward to see what they come out with next--

&& Yes, think Toshiko's vocal are what make capsule 'work'; he has/had(?) another pairing with himself and another vocalist (COLTEMONIKHA),
But they didn't take off nearly as much. That's probably why I was a little disappointed with their latest album; Toshi wasn't really there but...
Also, I can understand the feeling of 'sadness' from Jelly. It's about being hesitant(?) about love; so yes, it fits.

It's true that the Japanese are almost revolutionary, in a sense;
But I'm really underwhelmed with their new-gen girl-groups < I'm pretty sure I've never listened to a boyband, ever.
Hmmm, and a favourite concept? I'm not too sure, that's a difficult one? I'm not too bothered by that aspect?
During my 'darker' days (though they were 'cloudy', if anything), I was really into visual kei> I thrived on alice nine., Miyavi & the entirety of Peace&Smile Co.
But I guess I prefer the 'natural' look, or maybe Kyary's 'weird cute' as a concept? I honestly don't know.
If I have to hear 'sexy concept' one more time in Kpop though, I don't know what I'll do with myself.
Oh gosh, and Taemin's Sherlock hair is classic >x< SM does A LOT of questionable concepts, in their defence? Pfft~

As for TVXQ, it's really weird because I knew them as Tohoshinki first, who featured on Koda Kumi's 'Last Angel' single;
I didn't even think to delve deeper into them, I just knew that I liked them. So of course I didn't realise they weren't Japanese but Korean.
It didn't help that I avoided 'DBSK' like the plague, because all the rampant 'Hero Jaejoong' fans turned me off.
So, it took me a while to put two and two together =w=;;
I only refer to them as TVXQ when a duo for some reason...
Their a cappellas were beautiful as 5, though; their harmonies were just~
They were always the highlights of their albums.

And , I love 9muses & their sound. When I heard their teaser for the single, I was super excited;
They didn't disappoint with 'Dolls'! I'm a little upset that Eunji and Sam have 'graduated', though ;;v;;
Thanks for the share, as well! I had been thinking of giving her album as listen after seeing it floating around; I guess the final push was given keke
But I really like that song, it's so airy and uplifting; I dunno, it almost sounds like it's supposed to be apart of a movie soundtrack! Or maybe an ad campaign--
It's totally up my alley! Admittedly, I was expecting a bit more from Bond ft. Beenzino; it fell a little flat.

Ughh, Jpop has been rather stale (repetitive, even) for a couple of years now, I think anyway;
I don't know, I feel like there isn't even a distinctive style or personality to most recent Jpop artists.
Back in the early 2000s, I used to love on Koda, Utada, Amuro & and a few others, but I just don't know anymore.
Admittedly, I do listen to the group Perfume & also Kyary Pamyu Pamyu > but they're both produced by Nakata >>;;
When it comes to Kpop, I'm pretty picky and I usually don't listen to girl groups. I may have a few really fun, catchy songs from 2NE1 or 9Muses; but that's it.
I think I still prefer Jpop over Kpop though, in terms of style anyway. Kpop seems to focus a bit more on vocal quality.
DBSK roped me in with the a cappella versions of their songs-- even though I didn't realise they were DBSK, at the time >v<

I completely agree, and that's probably why I can't connect with those genres.
At a point in time, I think I had a totally of 2 country songs & 1 metal;
I really wanted to give it a go but...

Keke you saw that post? I was trying to remember if it was you or Cie you said that they liked hip hip/r&b;
But given that, maybe you both do?

As for my stamp of approval, a few genres get it, I guess.
I think because I'm such a 90's kid, I like a lot of r&b, hip hop and maybe surprisingly, jazz.
(That's a long list so it's hard to pick out just a few)
But my go-to genres are usually some form of electronic music;
My favourite intl. artists being nujabes, DJ Okawari & DJ Nakata Yasutaka < imo almost everything Nakata touches is gold.
His older work (especially w/ capsule) actually got me interested is bossa nova.

I'm pretty open to trying anything and always looking for recommends;
But I think I have a hard time stomaching most metal and country styles =w=;;

That sounds rather fascinating, though! A doll and a butler... Reminds me of a manga I've read before, but I can't quite put my finger on it. D. Gray Man, I think.
Sci-fi really is interesting! There's so many possibilities you can mess around with. Why not give roleplaying a go? Who knows, you might like it.

I finally gathered enough gold to purchase Ashen Marionette, but ouch... A billion gold for a single item really isn't a joke. Hopefully, yeah! The marionette items really are among my favourites, with its recolours. The so called conversion from gaia cash to gold is insane though... With Hime Bangs being 199GC, and 11 billion gold?? Maybe it's the utility, but still... It's really bad.

Oh, you. I'd like to think of it as a headcanon, now. He could be a busker who hides his ears under a hat and sings for money. Oh, the possibilities...

Honestly, I kinda want to get Ashen Marionette for Rancelle, but the price is really expensive... Not to mention I don't have any items I feel like selling off at the moment, as well. The marketplace really is getting worse... But we can't lose hope, right? All we got to do is keep trying!

And yes, it is! Shounen-T is has a really great voice, ahah. If Rancelle had a voice, I'd definitely want him to sound like that. redface
