i'm a big fan and i still have so much i haven't seen or read OTL
it's refreshing to have people who care about what they're doing and not just the money in hollywood. we need a LOT more of them!

yes, wasn't too bad with a shorter post, but i've lost LONG ONES. and it took a few too many before i officially started using a text program to save things i was working on. OTL

sounds like it, lol!

i definitely need to see and read more of stephen king's stuff, too.
it really is rare these days to get a good remake at all, since they're generally just used for the sake of earning money, so i imagine the people involved had some genuine love for what they were doing. that's when things tend to actually turn out with some heart and not an empty shell clearing existing for the purpose of money making alone.

i learned my lesson in losing one too many really long replies to things, especially roleplaying with long pieces of writing. OTL

and yeah, my memory is terrible too, as i even said as one of the reasons for copying things to paste again in case i forget, lol!

it doesn't surprise me, considering it's based on a stephen king novel, for there to be some good psychological stuff in there.
it is surprisingly for a remake of a movie that's originally based on a book to be good though! so often it's not the case.

yeah, a mixture of forgetfulness, past experiences losing text i've typed and general obsessiveness leads to lots of copy pasting to make sure nothing gets lost or forgotten xD it comes in handy though, so i can't complain.

yes, skeletons manage to fit into basically any theme somehow; goofy, classy, even actually scary if done right.

you'll have to let me know how the two compare! i'm a big wimp when it comes to jumpscares too, they always manage to get me, so you're not alone!
it sounds interesting that it was able to make you sad as well as being scary. i can't think of a lot of horrors that manage that.

yes, orange, green purple and black seem to be the biggest colours of halloween, although i do lean more towards the spooky skeleton side of things myself!

ooh, let's see, gotta have a melody blue, starry, some grey, probably some more of the gradients i like when i've collected enough items with them.
and always more horror avatars! can't get enough. xD
so it's quite a list so far, but i'm ticking them off one by one!
