However, the thing about this being virtual is that you can change things like your avatar's gender and skin color. So when you submit a cosplay avatar, you're expected to match it as completely as possible.

I know that, but my point was that it's me, the hair, gender, skin, and eyes are what defines my normal character, and I was dressing up as Walter without really looking like him. Not quite sure how to explain it, but's it's kinda like dressing up for Halloween as someone without changing your physical appearance.
