I love designing and doing renovations. I've done most of the floors in my house, even putting down new sub floor down first. The only thing I still need to learn is how to install tile.

I ordered my vanity, mirror and sink on Wayfair last night, it's this really dark blue with white sink and black faucet. I also picked out the shower tile, this white tile that is a little larger than subway tile and it has a beveled edge to add some interest. I'm going to go with black grout and caulk. I'm getting the same toilet that we just put in my master bathroom, and a nice white tub.

I had some mixed berries for breakfast, might have my mango yogurt in a bit.

So far, we have removed everything ourselves and had to get a bin for all the garbage. Going to buy all the materials ourselves for liquidation store and going to try and do as much of it as possible ourselves. It still likely going to cost 5k. or something stupid like that.

My weekend was super busy and full of destruction. We ripped out a bathroom and then decided to rip the last bit of carpet out of the house, so now the spare room is a mess too. But I'm starting to feel better, and not so tired and run down, so getting rid of all the gross stuff in the walls is helping.

Sucks that the help was delayed a few days waiting for them to deny me. That was a few more day exposure to mold. Oh well, I can only move forward from here.
I woke up this morning to an extra $450 in my account from my previous employer. Turns out they didn't pay me enough for the Christmas/New Years season that I worked for them. I think them having to do their taxes revealed a lot of where they were screwing employees over. Thank you, tax season.

Where I live the roads are falling apart, the crime is out of control and homelessness is hirer than ever. We are building plenty of homes, but no one can afford to buy them at the current interest rates. Like one of the home builders we did work for can't afford to buy us, because the homes aren't selling.

I still have another bathroom, so I'm good there. I'm trying to put in an insurance claim, because that wall also backs onto my kitchen. I'm not feeling positive that they will cover it though. My parents and friend will help me rebuild it, but it just the pain of it all and now trying to get all that mold out of the house. Now I really need that air purifier.

I opened a can a worms in my house last night, found out the shower in my main bathroom was leaking inside the wall and rotting it. So now I'm going through hell with my allergies, my eye is all blurry again and my throat is on fire. I also have a million and one stupid things to deal with now.
I need a vacation.
