SAW YOUR THREAD!
I'm going to be excited for you in comments! How about that? *huggles* CONGRADULATIONS ON YOUR MIND BLOWING GOOD TIME FELLOW GAIAN!
I would NOT be doing this if I wasn't so bored to the point I wanted to take an icecream scoop to my eyes.
Yo, yo! I appreciate your constructive criticism on my band. I'm not exactly happy with the sound. We're just redoing old material with new sounds to get the rust off. We've just reformed after two years. I'm the bassist, so I hope that wasn't too terrible, haha. Anyways, yeah, I agree on the piano on Lost. But it wasn't my decision. They made the decision to let the frontman's girl play piano on the song before I was reintroduced. It could come back to bite us in the a** later.
As far as Nathan goes, yeah, he's afraid to let go and sing. I sometimes have the same problem when recording at home just goofing off. But when live? Pfft. I don't give two shits. I let the punk in me go out and do whatever, and try to be as interactive as possible. Once all this old bullshit is done, we'll be working on a new sound and direction for the band.
I myself am still just wanting to do an old school punk band in lieu of Ramones, Sex Pistols, Misfits and a huge 50's rock influence. A few standout bass lines here and there, catchy singalong choruses. You get the idea. I'll message the band and let 'em see what you said.
Oh, btw, Sparrow's Tale was my instrumental I wrote for the band two years ago. So I'm really taking pride in the fact that you enjoyed it. The second and fourth solos are Nathan's, the first and third are mine. Memories? Yep, I wrote the music to that song too. And the second solo to it. *sighs* Just too bad Nathan and Branden get to play my guitar parts live when we start gigging again. Oh well... I'll just have to make up for it with backing vox and definitely kickass bass lines. See ya 'round!
