History Lesson
I am Suri. I was originally born in the year refered to as 378 A.D. into an Irish family and raised Celtic. At age three and twenty, christians overran my homeland. I was taken to an encampment where were many of my Saxon bretheren whom had resisted the changes of Yaw (Yahweh later known as God). This camp was soon taken by a group calling themselves absentus (latin: the missing). I was at that point "recruited" into their cult. This recruitment was a culling of the encampment which made the majority of us vampires. As christians retook the fort I escaped. I do not know what happened to the cult or if any others escaped. I went forth to France, and slowly returned to Eire. Along the way I partook of only that which I needed to survive, from the willing ladies of the night. At the turn of the milleneum I was discovered as different and burned in the light of morn. I did not survive.
An experiment in the 1970's by German researchers on the northern island of Japan resulted in the creation of a pair of individuals; a male and a female. Being grown from a petri dish, this pair were "born" from an incubator and raised in a lab. They were infused with the memories of dying individuals whom they resembled. They were genetically enhanced to keep from contracting the disease that killed their counterparts. These two, displayed enhanced learning capabilities which allowed them to use higher brain functions as yet undiscovered by science. Their hormones settled to a normalized pattern after their rushed growth. They were then installed where they were intended.
The male proceeded to engage in celtic rituals culminating with a wiccan spell. This spell summoned the spirit that was my essence. The boy had the only mind capable of housing an extra spirit. I took residence in this child and took over his body for a short period. I proceeded to hunt down a vampire in order to make this body compatable with the lifestyle I had previously attended. The genetic enhancements kept certain qualities of vampyrism supressed, which made it difficult to control. Once the boy realized he had true control over the body he took it back. He has since realized that my experience provides him with an unlikely wisdom for his age, and thus we have lived in harmony. We are now one and refer to ourselves as "I".
