I ended up blocking Marinara Sauce/what's their name and I replied to your post in their thread, but I probably won't be able to see it.
If you have any questions/comments/etc. Anything to discuss you can PM me or leave a comment, I don't mind.

Gosh yeah, some of the things people say about it are frightening - Like what I mentioned in the topic, the ones who believe dysphoria is only the result of believing you need certain body parts to be male/female. It's not like I can't accept I am male without transitioning - But I need to transition in order to become more comfortable and finally be the real me, because the dysphoria is not something you can choose to switch off! It's not like having bad self esteem you learn to get over, but it lead to a lot of it. It is very relieving for me too, I'm so glad to be finally able to move on in life. I felt like a lot of my childhood was robbed of me, for being unable to really live as the 'real me', yeah? Here's to having lots of years to be ourselves finally smile

Same here dude! It has always been something I felt inside since well long before I even knew there was a word for it. There are so many out there who think it's strange for a kid to have such self awareness, but to me, it is just more proof that it has always been there and it's not something we choose. Luckily yeah, the gender clinics get you to be all answering so many questions and trying to make sure you are serious about it. I'm really glad they accepted me, even though I regret not being able to get it earlier, but my family were not accepting. Waiting for years to get on hormones was hellish, puberty was awful too - Feels like your body was growing in all the wrong direction it should have been.
With how it seems to be getting a lot more coverage it might mean that, hopefully, there won't be too many kids growing up with the utter confusion of "Why do I feel like this?" that we have probably had cross our minds way too often!

Hah, no wonder I liked it so much, then. Reddit has a particular set of humor I've always found hilarious.

Agree totally with your post dude, the one you linked is super interesting, and clears up the terms people get confused about smile It is not often you see the term used a lot yeah. I hear it used a lot in very old medical documentaries and such, but recently you just don't hear it now. I've heard some people think of it as a slur nowadays (for use in fetish terms and what not) but I have never seen it as that. Plus I always prefer the distinction between gender and sex in the words since there is such an overlap in the terminology now.
