☭ Alfie's Past ☭

This Alfred was created under a possible reality for the past up into the distant future. His background is that basically during The Great Depression the presidential election was skewed in favor of William Z. Foster due largely in part of the very prominent role communism had in the U.S. labor movement during the 20's. So after he won he was able to initiate a mostly non-hostile take over of the US for the good of the people. You can tell from history that really really bad things happen to nations with no money. Under threat of massive population decreases from starvation and disease and with absolutely no way to defend the nation, the President holds a meeting and basically sells America to what ever nation can protect and help stabilize it. The nation that buys America is Russia. America is striped of it's old laws and government and placed under strict surveillance as a satellite nation. Downfall from The United States of America to The Soviet States of America. Well that's the worst of it I believe. :9

☭ Present Day Alfie ☭


After having a really rough time of it and being walked all over for the better half of a century, Alfie is sold to Alfred Leader Jones by the Ivan who owned him and there he is taught how to take care of himself. Because of the training he receives from him, Alfie is stronger then he ever was as an independent nation and is no longer shadowed by Russia~!

Alfie edges toward the sadistic side if needed but unless given any real reason he will be polite, cautious and quite, a trait that was pretty much beaten into him. When he is at home or near people he knows he normally keeps a straight, blank face. He eats healthy foods and Russian dishes more than anything. His best friend (Alfred 'Bestie' Jones) also gave him the nickname 'Alfie', so he doesn't like being called anything else. He isn't /quite/ as physically strong as an ordinary America so he's developed a slight obsession with poisons and venom as well as simple hand held torture devices from all periods and places. These are things he collects and hordes. After all they come in handy if he needs questions answered but can't let where ever he happens to be get all bloody.

Relationships with other Communists: Any current or former Communist or nation who was under Communist rule at any given point, he will treat them like a brother and look after them as best as he can. He can't help finding things in common with them and calling them his 'comrade' at any given opportunity.

Relationship with Russia: The one particular Ivan who owned him is the only one other than Alfred Leader Jones who can control him. Ivan originally drew up the paper work for SA (Soviet America) and he has also branded Alfie so that he is unable to disobey verbal commands. Other than that one particular Ivan, he treats other Ivans perhaps a bit more calmly then any of his clones would but keep in mind, for him, The Cold War was around one hundred and 20 years ago and much worse things have happened since then.

Relationship with England: He had a slight altercation (understatement) with one Arthur in particular when he was too weak to defend himself so he isn't overly eager to form ties with them. If anything else he'd like to break down any Arthur he met in some way or another out of subconscious fear and anger toward them so be warned. Since he never had the chance to forge friendly relations with him, England is little more than an enemy.

Relationship with Canada: He feels closer to Matthew then anyone else in the world other then his best friend so he has his guard lowered around him. He is protective, indulgent, and very outwardly loving toward them and to keep things simple and happy and 'like heaven' only one Matthew knows about his past and he will keep it that way.

Relationship with The Baltics: He still has really good ties with them, especially with Lithuania and Estonia. Lithuania because while he was detained in Russia Alfie was stationed under him and taught to cook and clean house. Naturally they bonded. Estonia because Alfred came to the Mother Land with just the clothes on his back and since they were around the same size, he mainly wore Estonia's clothes while staying there. Also he taught him how to use Russian software and things like that so that he could play video games when allowed.

Relationship with Alfred 'Bestie' Jones: This is his best friend in the world. Alfred met Alfie while still a broken nation and they became deeply involved in each others lives. Many times, due to Alfie's being controlled, they lost contact with one another but now that he is free for all intensive purposes they go and visit each other all the time. No need to say Alfie is protective of Alfred as well. ♥ Alfie keeps up the facade of being fragile and helpless around Bestie because that's how their relationship started and he doesn't want the other to leave him alone. He'd do /anything/ to make sure Bestie is okay.

So to recap!

Alfie carries at least three injections on his person at all times.
1: Pancuronium bromide
2: Amyl nitrite (liquid of course)
3: Hydrochloric

Alfie carries a gun, a replacement for the Soviet Era TT-13 he used to own. It is a Ruger P95, given to him by Alfred 'Leader' Jones.

Alfie has an aversion to blood, which is why he will only use his gun if absolutely necessary.

Alfie has trouble sleeping through the night. He doesn't like sleeping because it's impossible to defend himself when he is asleep and he always seems to end up dreaming about his past, something he'd like buried.

Alfie's torso has a great many scars, plus his brand so he will, under most circumstances, refuse to take his shirt off. On most days he binds his chest for added protection.

Alfie at any given point can and will act as Alfred 'Leader' Jone's personally assistant/body guard/assassin... What ever is needed at the time.

Alfie is protective of certain people.. but largely uncaring about most others. He is a natural born conversation killer due to his awkwardness.
