"You're quite strong Citizen, to be able to lift this tail so quickly...it's quite heavy" she chuckled. She had had some difficulty getting use to the extra weight. "Ah, the story behind how I tail...I was under a great deal of emotional stress and well...oh I suppose I should first explain that I am originally from Neptune but was reborn here" she started.

She shrugged. "I sort of inherited her through my family. And she takes care of my home when I'm away on tour. I play the violin professionally though I have been on leave for a few months. Personal reasons"

"My housemaid will be here in an hour or so to pick me up then I'll return home." she told her "I know this must sound incredibly odd to you" she gave her a shy smile. "A mermaid that doesn't live in the sea...well a mermaid in general I guess.."

She laughed at her choice of words. "Well, it's a little more complicated than that. I suppose I unlocked this ability...but I have no idea how to change back" she sighed. "So I've been making the most of it though, the sea is beautiful"

She almost laughed but stopped herself and let it come out as a smile. "Ah, yes. I suppose I am a real mermaid. My name is Michiru Kaioh" she told the woman.

Michiru brushed her hair back waiting for the waves to slow so she could jump back in when she heard someone speak behind her. She turned startled to find a dark haired woman with striking blue eyes staring at her, a smiled on her face. The mermaid blushed slightly gazing up at her. "Hello" her tail flipped in the sand.

Michiru had been more adventurous today, playing in the pre-storm waves as the sea became more violent while the sky darkened. She just knew it would ran today but that was why she'd come to the beach, she hadn't swam in the storms yet and this was the prefect opportunity.

The teal haired woman surfaced just as a particularly large wave hit catching her off guard and pushing her back on shore, she chuckled to herself feeling slightly silly as she was left in the sand. The sea was playful today it seemed.
