If Red had heard the plight of Lawtons daughter on the other line, she might have given pause, nobly turned herself in to whatever lie in store with Strange. Just because she was at times a stone cold b***h towards the thralls of humanity, didn't mean she didn't have heart towards a child. But she had heard from Tetch what kind of maniac schemer Strange was, and while the Hatter hadn't been the most reliable (sane) source of information, she believed nearly every word true. At her back she heard the scream, she didn't think twice, didn't stop, assuming it only an agitated howl of rage at her deception, she only felt remotely sorry, but not enough to turn around. Hopeful to give him, and the rest of the GCPD the slip, Ivy passed through the tunnels, a zig and a zag until finally she cut her way up into the alley, hopeful to appear up past the swirling police car lights. Up the ladder she slid the manhole cover back when she was certain the coast was clear.

Out she exited, and then just as she moved to round the corner, weapons were drawn, a number of armed officers blocking her way, "-Enough Ivy, there's nowhere to run," feigning cooperation only enough to allow their guard to slip for but a moment, Ivy once again lashed out, swiveling in her position she released a handful of unstable seeds tucked in her hand, from the Lelumis plant, their pods genetically altered for its fragility. The fumes instantly cloud the air, filling the tight quarters of the alleyway with noxious gas, the officers instantly went into a coughing fit, distracted from purpose Pamela acted once more, avoiding a shot fired blindly, she took care to disarm each opponent, some with more resistance then others, each gun tossed down into the open sewer mouth, each attacker, struck out with minimal training, handicapped by the toxins now coursing through their veins, chances are they wouldn't die, these men were only doing their job after all, but she had no time for interferences. At her back, after dealing with officer one and three, two retaliated with one last attempt, spinning about in a roundhouse kick snapping her heel back as it crashed down square into officer twos face knocking him out as he struck the wall... Of course her worry now was focused on the sewer mouth, Lawton had to have heard the shot. Hugging the alley wall, Ivy looked out... Lights swung in the distance, dogs on leashes, a chopper soaring ahead swinging search lights along her path, 'Strange outdid himself on this one,' unaware it was all from Waller, needless to say only a fool would run back out there... Glancing back at the sewer entrance she snarled, "-Well, ********] back down the ladder she went, hoping she'd manage to bypass The 'Bounty Hunter'...

She had thought for a moment that they were getting along famously, and then he casually remarked, "-Don't worry my only job was to rescue you, and turn you into Hugo Strange," a single Ruby brow rose, emerald eyes darkening, "-You can say I went to hit-man to bounty hunter. Now I'm not sure what he's going to do with you, but let's hope it isn't a problem..." remorse? Any doubts would have been cleared right up, when he spoke again, "-Well even if it is, I still get my paid check, whatever feeds my baby girl tonight," about to give him a piece of her mind, they were suddenly rushed by the GCPD, as beams of light swung outwards, and shouts sounded, "-Guess we had a witness?" without another word, the floronic temptress slammed her fist against the brick wall, shockwaves leveling out through the soil drawing large roots to shoot out, and grab the officers, stripping them of their weapons, rendering most of them unconscious, as they crumpled against the wall, "-Fools for trying to assault us here when I'm so close to my children," by now, like Superman with earths sun, Ivy was feeling pretty good, her powers effortless, her and Lawton had worked well together, but that didn't mean s**t. With a well timed step backwards away from Deadshot on her heels, there was a fluid wave of her slender hand and then the girthy roots that had originally grew outwards from the wall rendering aid, suddenly blocked the path between Lawton and herself, damn near creating a wall. Planting her hand along the curve of her hip, Ivy shook her head, a savage smile visible there on her lovely face, "-Thanks for the rescue Lawton, Sorry about the paycheck, but I'm no mans meal ticket... Give the Doc' my regards..." and with a salute, she'd smile, laugh and immediately turn down the first tunnel away from him, before the expert marksman could get a shot off, the sewer system was vast, she only hoped she wouldn't run into him, thankfully Waylon, Killer Croc wouldn't be a problem... He wasn't vegetarian, she wouldn't be on the menu...
