The quote is from Short Circuit. Number 5 says it without an order. It is an indication that he has gained a sense of humor and self awareness. It happens at about the same time when he reprograms the other robots to act like Larry, Moe and Curly. It's before he convinces his creator not to disassemble him (that's at the end) by recognizing the butterfly in the inkblot.
