we think it started a few weeks ago when he came running in terrified....we think the neighbor's kids may have tried to pick him up and he does not like strangers and they my have made loud noises when they did it....when this happened he did not want to be held much....then just the other day while Dio was packing her stuff up a bin fell next to him making a loud noise....so he ran outta there so fast to his hiding place and would not come out for a couple of days....his is himself now but any really loud noise will send him back again....poor boy....our other babies are doing great but Milo needs to go to the vet for regular allergy shots....poor guy sneezes so bad....try Blue Buffalo that is what we feed our kitties and they really like it....**hugs back**

I’m sorry to hear about your foot problems. I hope the doc doesn’t need to do surgery. The company you work for is rather lax in maintenance. There is no excuse for the safety strip to come away from stairs! You could have broken your neck. There are several options to use for non-slip applications, i.e. tape strips with grit, paint-on adhesive and grip or the caps that wrap around each step. Since you don’t want to use a foot brace, can you ask for crutches to get around with?
I’ve only done herbs in this house. My plants died. I’m really wanting to use containers (self watering) so I can neglect and still have some good plants. I read up on the quinoa and it says not to use containers. I like the idea of using the starter peat pots. I’m going to try to start from seed. The lingonberry spreads out so I’m going to try container and several in the soil. This winter has been mild so, I might be able to start mid to late April. There has been frost as late as mid May so, I won’t put anything outside til then. I may do some herbs in smaller containers and those are easier to move inside/outside during the day. I’d like to start my indoor seeds by mid March. I don’t want to handle anything too small.

I hope you had fun on Friday. Will you be starting a garden soon? I want to try quinoa and lingonberries, eggplant, tomatoes, blackberries, raspberries and blueberries. Maybe spinach, lettuce, parsley and some herbs. 🌿
