Yo. I'm Nick. I'm 14 and attend High School as a freshman. I am in the school's band, jazz band, and marching band program. We just had our first football game this year last Thursday. We lost, but by one point and we were facing one of the top state-ranked teams. So we did pretty well. Our half-time show, The Music of the Rock Band Chicago, was really great. I play percussion in the band and pit/front ensemble percussion in marching band (marimba, xylophone, etc.).
I love to write. I've written stories, poetry, fanfics, and all sorts of things, I just never seem to finish them (except for poems). I can't tell you how many unfinished stories I have in my computer. I keep saying, "Oh, I'll go back to it someday," but I never seem to really do it...lol
Aside from writing stories and poetry, I also love to write music. I have my own band called Fight to Protect, in which I am (can you guess?) the drummer. My friend Erin in the singer, and we have my my friend Maddy on keyboard. We're currently looking for a guitarist, and maybe if someone's a better drummer than me, I'll switch if they want to join the band. Anyway, I'm mostly good at lyric-writing, and I haven't actually tried composing music (except for the drum parts to a couple of songs). But anyway, We're planning to just work on covers for right now, and work on learning the music, practicing it, etc. And then hopefully when we get a little older get some gigs at bars, or proms or something. And we'll just do covers, and then maybe slip in a couple of our own songs here and there, and maybe we'll hit it big. Probobly not, though. lol We're not good at all. XD
