Right, so... time to try and fix this... thing... up.I go by the name Mark Pierce on Gaia. No, it's not my real name. Nor is it a pen name, since I'm not a writer. I'm a 21 year old male from Kalamazoo, MI, going to college at Western Michigan University.
I am a very proud and well-adjusted geek. If you can't tell by my avatar, I'm a sci-fi fanboy. Stargate, Firefly, Starcraft, Traveler... These are my main interests. I like space operas and I'm working to branch out. I'm also a troper. Check the link if you're not sure what that means, and prepare to waste a considerable portion of your life.
As well as being a sci-fi geek, I am also a gamer geek. I play EVE Online, World of Warcraft, Minecraft, and Starcraft 2 regularly. Mostly Starcraft 2. I love my Starcraft. My favorite pro player is Liquid.Jinro. He is one sexy Swede with his Terran macro play. I am currently middle ranked Platinum on the Ladder, and I'm looking to improve further. I just graduated from Gold so I'm still adjusting to the new level of competition. I'm also terrified of graduating into Diamond in the next six months, because it still blows my mind how players like HuK, Drewbie, and Jinro play. Anyway, I just cut this down from the massive elitist hurf blurf this was made as two or three years ago. I'm very laid back these days, taking a "Sure, why not?" approach to most things. If you wish to RP with me, send me a PM with what you want to do. If you can make me really excited about it, I'll probably give it a shot, even if it is something I have no interest in.
