I feel like the idea of books is to be imaginative though. There are plenty of stories that end off with a "I wonder what would happen to the characters after the book" but very few authors have ever bothered with an epilogue such as the one JK did. Again, I can understand from your point of view, wanting to know more about the characters. But the point of the book is to tell a story and be inspired by it. I feel like she took that away from her audience.
Ugh, no. I feel like it was a writer's cop-out to avoid having anyone else write about her characters so she can keep the copy rights for them until they expire in about fifty years. But, that's just my opinion as a writer.
I'll think about it but I really don't like the next gen HP role plays... something about me and having the issues with the epilogue of the last book. For now I shall just ponder upon it if its okay. <3
