I can, but also can't, swim - which sounds confusing, but there's explanation for that. sweatdrop
Can't swim: face-down, doggy paddling even; also, my ears (left ear: hole in the ear drum, right ear: tubes) can't get water in them, so having my head underwater is definitely no good.
Can swim: on my back, elementary backstroke-style. (But that's if I have something in my ears / covering my ears, to keep out water.)

But I am afraid of deep water (swimming pools included, so I stay in 4-foot and less) and rivers and lakes and stuff.
I feel awkward and bad for saying this, but, I was almost drowned in a pool, and almost drowned in a river, and was accidentally pushed underwater at an amusement park's water area, and have been in several vehicles that were nearly washed off the road because of idiotic people thinking it was safe to drive across water that flowed across roads.
My last time going anywhere near a large amount of water didn't go so well either - it was the Gulf of Mexico, and my aunt's Mexican husband decided to have us in the van, staying a night on the beach.
And while we were there, Florida was getting slammed by a hurricane, so when I wake up in the van, I see a wave of water go underneath the vehicle and it's all-alarms from me.
He was trying to get me to calm down and go back to sleep but I was freaking out too much, and when the water went underneath the vehicle a second time, I was freaking out big time.
They had to evacuate the beach because of the water coming up on shore, and I'm so glad he didn't opt to keep us in that town, because I don't care how many tall buildings are in San Pade Island, if water is on the ground then no building is high enough for me.
If I was to be walking in town and water just started pouring up through a storm grate, my reaction would probably be the equivalent of a hundred venomous snakes coming after me.
My top phobia is dead animals, but my water phobia is right there next to it. sweatdrop

I mean, I have a fear of the dark and a fear of heights, but at least I can sleep in a dark bedroom and climb up a high ladder, but forget water.
And I'd never go fishing on my own, because another fear of mine would be getting pulled in by a fish. emo

Gosh, that's terrible that he fell ill and that the weather was also bad!
Hopefully there'll be another good chance soon, before winter weather drops in.

All that water in Cape Cod though.

Yes, I don't like its taste; however, the smell is wonderful.

Gosh I wanna go eat at a restaurant that serves pies, cakes as well. gonk
The only thing I can remember them having is red velvet cake, but naturally, everyone just has to serve them with cream cheese icing - it greatly upsets my stomach for the longest time - why can't anyone make velvet cakes with fluffy whipped white icing? x-x

I've never smelled or tasted chamomile of anything.
How interesting that it makes you feel more calm and also cures upset stomach.
I know of mint helping with upset stomach, so when I start getting mine, I snack on minty things - peppermints, candy canes, mint gum.

I'm not much of a tea drinker myself (I buy pre-bottled only; lemon iced tea only) so other things kind of taste funky to me.
One tea I really can't stand the smell or taste of: raspberry.
Every time someone walks by and the scent of raspberry tea wafts under my nose, I just cringe and shudder. gonk !

Dessert does sound good right about now, and honestly, I'm hardly a fan of desserts. XD
Never had chamomile tea; do you prefer it for taste, smell, texture, or effects?
I've not heard of coconut custard pie, but I'm actually not a fan of anything coconut (same as peanuts) so I wouldn't eat that.
But I really love apple pie, and cherry pie is amazing!
Also love chocolate creme pie and key lime pie!
There was some restaurant's ad on TV, go there and eat on a certain day, get a free / discount slice of pie, and my god, I really want pie every time I see that ad, but that restaurant isn't in this town! gonk

Though I remember one time my mom made key lime pie (from a box kit) when I was about 16 - something went wrong.
It didn't taste like key lime pie, but it tasted like Froot Loops.
Still tasted good though. XD
