The odds of me leaving Gaia are very very low. hehehe whee So much time and cash invested on here, lol. But I just log in to check out new items, play in Dress Up, read GCD posts, and check up on the guild. I wish I had time to do art here and be active again in the Art Shops forum, but art commissions provide half my income atm. Oh, I have a hooman account because I still love the pretty Mori Girl items. Don't be alarmed if you receive a friend request from petit faon.

Ah, yes, that long waiting list. emotion_facepalm I guess it must be that Gaia does not have enough artists to meet the demand. But hopefully things change for the better soon and you can have that Meili inspired item!

My Tumblr feed is all over the place, I think I need to cut back on accounts I'm following there so that I can see the important ones, like yours. <3 I am mostly active on Instagram (tama_draws) where I share my art and have more reactions than I did on dA and tumblr. I ride or die Durem every event, haha. So yes ABSOLUTELY THEY WOULD KNOW EACH OTHER or at the very least be aware of each other. We're alliteration twins cool huehuehue

The Committee and their rival nuGen are from a plot going on this year with two competing robotics companies that you were able to literally apply to via PM to 'work there' (really it just granted you an item and an achievement) so I rolled with it. Deli's out of retail now, hahaha. Also might've been a larger allegory for Gaia's management with the Goldemort years and all that?? Gaia kind of dropped the plot though. I can totally picture Ko just clinging onto Crescento like "NOTICE ME SENPAI" because that's 110% what Deli did before Jack died I'm still upset about that. Uhhh style.. I need to move some items over to him to be more accurate but basically sad tumblr hipster; big sweaters, tight pants, occasional blazers, beanies.. that sort of stuff. And more color than what Deli wears. Definitely works in a coffee shop (what would one in Durem be named we should brainstorm) and gets super shy around cute boys.

HMMM you could go with changelings or shifters depending on what they shift into..? Yuanti can shapeshift into snakes. Death works really weird in D&D so yeah that definitely works PLUS there was a whole arc in one of the books about a death curse and old death wounds coming back as scars so that's neat. Domitre's a plain ol' human boy but Deli's like a reverse tiefling (which I don't even think is a thing). Instead of starting with human heritage and going demonic her family started demonic and went more human. D&D races. But basically just roll with whatever, fantasy is super flexible.

Aaand this is not Deli, no (It doesn't help that I keep the same hair color/horns for every avatar). This was me playing around with the oniki skin lmao. 95% of the time my avatars are her though, so assume that if I have her base skin tone on and ivory hair it's her.

sorry for not replying earlier! i was at work and then i got distracted and then i got stuck trying to start off chapter 3
that guild does look interesting, but i think at the moment my current interpretation of the gaia universe is so far removed from the actual current one that i'd feel awkward trying to explain all the different nuances to people who are more entwined with the plot here. ;;;;;; 'oh yeah, so cygnus quit LV in a huff and handed his position off to sol, who's couch surfing at his boyfriend crux's place, and the gemini twins are obnoxious goop-level vegans, and...' yeaaahh

i'm down for talking on discord one of these days, though! admittedly i only JUST downloaded it recently so i can't make hide or hair of it

oh man, good luck trying to get a golden ticket nowadays, the prices are pretty brutal for custom items ( and i pop around the ticket release thread in the custom forum sometimes, and the staff is so backed up with anything not a recolor it's not even funny. so if you did put one in now i don't think you'd see it released for like a year and a half at this point -- this isn't anything against them obvs since i know how hard it can be to make something from scratch, it's just ... dang yo )

i still wish they had the mint ticket where you could RP a few posts with an NPC. that would've been entertaining
and the blank pillowcase... RIP

The Gaia Discord is fun, although a little hectic at times (there's around 900 people in it but only a small fraction actually talk). I tend to hang out in the slower moving channels and avatars, but I've made a few new friends there that are still active on the site and there's a lot of Gaia staff that hang out, which is neat. Joooooin uuuuuuus, lol. Or you can just add me on discord if you'd rather not deal with a big crowd.

I'm really digging the FA position! Two of my friends actually got me to apply in the first place and I'm still a little shocked that my application was picked? It's gotten me looking at forums I haven't really gone into in the past and I'm getting to do a bit more, which I like a lot.

The app's been broken for a bit, I think that's why codemonkey did the inventory 2.0 arranger. I haven't really tried it out yet because mine's arranged by color and I'm afraid that adding things into boxes is going to mess that order up? What didn't you like because now I'm even more scared to try it, haha.

The Russ' originally hailed from Dref Dur, getting into whatever mischief low-range demons get into. They were, however, quick to disown her grandfather when he hooked up with and consequently fell in love with a human woman. Pregnant with a half-demon and broke, they made the move to Durem where his appearance wouldn't attract too many second looks. They had three kids over time, one of which was Daniel. Years later, he would meet Midge, and the rest fell into place.

It's been a slow wip; honestly the last time I had a profile written up was high school and [i]boy[/i] was it apparent I didn't know what I was doing, but now Deli's a little more rounded out and 'real'. Yes! I much prefer having an OC to just wildly changing from day to day, especially since I like consistent avatar art. [strike]We need to get art together soon.[/strike] There's a guild/discord about Gaian OCs too that's pretty neat. I remember when they were really pale, but I like the switch up, and Kei's hair. They're both looking super polished! I haven't fully picked one for Domitre yet (or a solid outfit) because his inventory is teeny tiny in comparison. He had the emo bangs fringe hairstyle for so long that everything else seems a little odd. Luckily Gaia upped the trade limit to fifty items so moving things over won't take an eternity.

Gaia didn't bother to give me the notification that you replied 10/10 website.

Yeees, just being able to single out poses like that was incredibly helpful. Going off of tags doesn't always work, hair poses are hidden in other things, and it's just so annoying. I'm glad there's a trend for separating the hair out and just recoloring that, like in the RIG we got today.

I mean to be fair I've been back for like half a year now so gifting is probably pretty equal now, haha. You talking about Ko and Kei reminds me that I really need to update my other account because Domitre is looking a little odd. I should send some items that I don't use on Deli often over to him. Also Ko looks awesome in catharsis, I'm about to go favorite that avatar after I'm done writing this. Midori as an accent with black or offblack would work for them I think? I flip flop between using schemes and just throwing things together until they're aesthetically pleasing so Deli's probably not the best for fashion advice, lol. Do you like the light purple in miserable? I feel like I can see Ko rocking that.

Oh gosh yeah, subscribing is nice but the amount of tiers. I've only done the $5 so nine times out of ten it's a paw item for me, which I never use because I'm too attached to the human base. I've started donating the little RIGs from the login wing stamps as well instead of playing them.
