Atreyu's talking
Atreyu De Fey could hear the thumping of her heart as she ran.The acheing need to take a deep gulp of air. Her legs had never carried her across a field this fast before.
She could hear the dogs behind her, she felt the wind on her dark, smooth skin. Her blonde hair was short, it stopped
just above her shoulders and her bangs swooped to the right. Her forest green eyes stared forward with intent and concentration.
Her hands clenched and unclenched with frustration, her druid stone-which hung between her breasts- shined in the morning light.
"Damn dogs!" she growled under her breath, they barked visciously. Their paw pads struck the ground roughly and teeth bared
into an eternal grin. Atreyu jumped over puddles and small holes in the ground. She grunted. All this trouble over a simple peice of bread?
she thought as the black bag full of the food beat against herleg. She wondered how her sister would take all of this. She'd snicker, probably,
she noted. A smirk crept along her lips.
The dogs got closer and she could feel their vibrations. By Avalon they're fast! she screamed within her mind. Her dark brown cape danced
behind her. Arrows zoomed past her and she looked back to see two men on horses charging at her.
"Halt theif!" one screamed and she ignored him with the simplest of intent. Her pointed ears twitched and she looked infront of her.
She concentrated hard on a tree. Milky white strands of thread like magic flowed from her druid stone, it curled around the large brown, rough
trunk and it creeked. She could feel the anger within her rising as each of the arrows got closer and closer to her. The tree trunk snapped in half
and that sent the tree hurtling down to the rough earth below. She darted out from beneath the tree and heard the yelping of a helpless dog and the
neighing of a horse. The scream of a man rang in her ears. His death was going to be on her soul, as a reminder of what might, will happen.
She sighed sadly and noted that the other one had retreated from her, so had the other dogs. She was happy for that but she was
even more happy when she saw the boundary of the home of the feys. Avalon. True, she was an elf but the Fey had raised her from birth
and she had trained in their ways. She was at peace there and she knew place. Though, she had to ask herself,
did she belong there and how long would it keep her satisfied. She wanted to tell the Lady of the Water but she did not want to anger her.
She put it out of her mind and sat down near a lake to eat her stolen breakfast.
This is a storyline that I'm writing. And Victor, don't think I'm not making a story for you too. I love you too much not to do that. :3
