Oooh... sorry if I didn't answer this already. It's because I don't feel I can be me with so many people, and it was especially because of my fiancee. Yes, we're still together currently, but sadly I'm afraid the days are numbered and I have let him know that too! I wanted to create the account and hopefully be able to be more me... but I ended up being honest with him about it because it's just who I am. Like I said, it's really a lot more. If I were me, I'd flirt more... innocently enough, but flirt just the same. Kinda' like Marilyn. If I were me, I'd be an actress or a singer... but though that's what I dreamed of and still do at times, I chose a different path ultimately and became a mother. It does have it's own rewards, but since I wanted to do something a bit different initially, I sometimes feel as though I am on the outside looking in. If I were me, I would still be me... I would still love God and be a Christian, but I feel I have to set a better example because of the ones I may influence. Bet you weren't expecting all of that... anyway, kisses heart

Yeah, I definitely know that feeling. I haven't been reading much fiction lately, mostly because of school, my cat getting sick, and then me getting sick, and what energy I have left I end up putting into my own writing.
It's the first book in a trilogy based on the mythology of King Arthur and set in post-Roman Britain. Normally I'm not very interested in Arthurian novels, but I was intrigued by the setting and have really enjoyed it so far. It's often intense, and Cornwell essentially throws you right into the story. He handles the historical aspect well (there's not a lot of expospeak, huzzah) I'm only halfway through, alas, but I'm eager to finish it and move onto the rest of the books.

I was actually looking for "House of Leaves" at my library last time I went! Turns out they don't have a single copy, which I find really odd, considering that it was a bestseller and receives a lot of praise. I'm eager to read it, so I suppose when I finish "The Winter King" I'll either find someone to borrow it from or actually cough up the cash for my own copy.

(Oh my, that does sound ominous; like the Grim Reaper has gone high-tech. At least all the boring Verizon captchas I get don't sound vaguely threatening. xD)

THANK YOU i like to think about things alot and i can sometimes convince myself of very weird things. And yeah im still in high school last year they didnt offer any of those classes at my school, but i may look into that for college if i need an extra credit.
