Randomness
Hello! Jerenda here, also known as Jerenda the Wizard, the Lady of the Rose, or on rare occassions, Song of the Dragon. But only sometimes. I'm young and strange and happy, and I like to laugh and poke fun at things and people.I've recently been referring to myself and my occassionally chronic disease (known as sarcasm) as the Nemesis. In this book, called the Land of the Silver Apples (which has to do with the moon, I think) there's a Bugaboo (I know!) and his Nemesis. And the Bugaboo is the king, but the Nemesis' job is to keep the Bugaboo from getting too big of an ego, so the Nemesis follows the Bugaboo around being extremely sarcastic about everything he's doing. Like, he was returning to his people and they were all cheering and the Nemesis was muttering things like "Look at them, you'd think they were greeting the Harvest King, but you're just a fat hobgoblin who sleeps a lot," or whatever. It was wonderful!!!
So, Nemesis is my new word for sarcasm. Or, to be specific, a sarcastic person being needlessly cruel. (It is reccommended that all would-be Nemesis' only practice on people that know them well enough to not be offended, and that all would-be Nemesis' know where the line is and keep from crossing it. It is also reccomended that all would-be Nemesis' keep in mind that I am The Nemesis, and all attempts at overthrowing my powah will not be tolerated.)
I am a lurker... I'll be reclusive until I learn more about the forums. I'm also a vampire, and so can afford to die every so often.
What else about me? I've already said I'm obnoxiously sarcastic... oh yes. I'm a writer. iWrite. NaNaWriMo. (Though I've never actually done NaNaWriMo, too terrifying a concept.) I write... random volatile stuff. Mostly my emotions tend to explode through words. I'm a much more laid-back person in RL. But all my stories are pure fantasy. Except for Heaven's Wrath, which is kind of like a scientific fantasy. Because it's based on Earth, in a near era, but with a bit different genetics technology. Anyways. Enough of my ramblings. I shall end with a quote... my current quote that I'm obsessing over and feeling misunderstood about... where'd I leave my flashdrive... uh-oh, where'd I leave my purse... oh here it is!
...And after all that I don't need my flashdrive. It's on my notepad. Rawr.
