History: The same top secret organization that Dealt with Wolverine, X-23, and Nightcrawler, Doctor Zander Rice received the task of creating a new weapon from the DNA of 2 figures of Weapon X. After creating X-23, and losing her, Rice was bent on creating the perfect weapon that would never leave her side. Janette was created from the DNA of Project X-23, and Kurt Wagner, who had been trained to be an assassin as a teenager. the young girl was not released though, for experimental purposes. Unsure of how she would react to being in a living and open environment, they kept her inside her chamber, allowing her to grow and develop her powers while in hibernation.
At the age of just 6, the facility was abandoned due to an outbreak of a deadly virus. She was left in her pod, abandoned by Rice and the scientists who created her, and labeled as a failed subject in her Data files.
At the age of 9, she was freed by an odd power surge. Using her claws, she managed to break open the glass container, and take her first steps into an unstable environment. Scared, and alone, she began to do her own research and look into the labs database, trying to find some sort of answers as to who or what she was. It was then that she discovered the identity of her parents, Laura Kinney, and Kurt Wagner. She scavenged the facility for something to wear, and left to locate her parents.
Rice wanted to give her the outer appearance of both parents. She was given claws, much like her mothers, minus the toe. From her father, she has his spaded tail, and his golden eyes, though hers had pupils. She as well received blue skin from Kurt, though hers is a much lighter shade due to Laura's mixed genes.
Her powers were a big part of the experiment. Doctor Zander Rice, the leader of the project, wanted to create a weapon that would not lose on the battlefield. She ensured the girl to have sharp claws from her mother, and a healing factor that would keep her from damage. Though she had not planned, Janette is also able to teleport herself to other locations. She has yet to further her teleportation skills to multiple body's.
