Oh that sounds like such an interesting concept to incorporate in a character. Like a Kirby-esque power adsorption thing. I love that idea, it definitely sounds like it opens up way more fun and creative ideas!
I have yet to see Metropolis, I really want to though. I have only heard good things about it and it looks AMAZING. It's definitely high up in my watchlist. Oh haha you've seen my Tumblr. I dunno why I'm still on there, I made it a while back and I've just gotten used to it. I just like reblogging black and white pictures, it's kinda relaxing in a way lol. Thanks!
Omg yes, the currency was a disaster for me. I came to gaia after a long time away and the inflation was such a setback for me. It took forever for me to get used to it and earn Plat. I remember when with a million gold a felt so rich lol.
Unfortunately, I have no idea how to correctly pronounce her name! It's quite embarrassing but I tried to google it, and it seems many people say it either way like you posted it. I pronounce it like Oh-sai-ree-uh as well but sometimes I say the other. I read that the name was popularized by the new hybridization of the rose and a Frenchman named it so it could also be pronounced with a French pronunciation too. It's a really interesting name but I have yet to see a unified pronunciation.
Yes I most definitely can relate to that! I'm always amazed when people can keep track and really know multiple characters. I'm more of a single character person as well.
I absolutely adore Hyde's new look! Despite loving Gothic stories, I have yet to explore Poes writing. I have only read one of his stories and it really creeped me out. In the future I want to dive into the Poe world. Sometimes I get excited but a tad anxious because of all the classics I have yet to read! So much good literature out there emotion_facepalm
I love that about Hydelloon though! She is super complex and you can tell you put a lot effort into her character. Creating lore around an ancient being is always very difficult. I just adore her uniqueness and feistiness.
Oh gosh. Well my idea around Osiria came from Theda Bara's photoshoot with skeletons I have always adored her aesthetic and really wanted a character with skeletons. I just put together a pretty crappy avatar with cheap items because at the time I had very little gold and eventually it became what she looks like now. I thought she looked like a vampire so I just rolled with the idea of it and I really liked the name Osiria because of the of the pretty pictures of the roses I saw. It also matched because the name of Osiris and the connotation with afterlife. So I just kinda meshed it all together and it seemed to fit.
I admittedly am pretty new to the idea of OC's and Osiria is my first one and I'm still learning more about the community. It takes a lot of effort and creativity to come up with things and to really get into characters! I still don't feel like it's my strong suit at all and I do struggle but it's always fun to see everyone's creativity.
Oh haha of course it's one of Dia's recs. The stuff she recs to us are always really cool! I will most definitely check more of the artists stuff out.
Ohh yeah I can imagine finding someone that looks like Hyde is rough! She's really unique looking. Of course skyrim would be a good start haha. I did the exact same thing omg! I modded my game and tried to do a playthrough of my character too lol I even downloaded a skeleton companion and was gonna make her a vampire and play around with necromancy too. Gosh I feel like skyrim is just perfect for rping our characters haha! And finding the right mods is annoying but it's fun to see what happens with it 😀
Holy cow! Thank you so much for the song you posted in the theme song thread. It's AMAZING. I feel bad that I've never heard of it before. I love it.
