Okay GrandpaJones! I logged into your account, cleaned up your CSS code to be friendlier. Then got into adjusting your media. I think I got it where you wanted it to be, i hope. if not, you should be able to adjust the values again. if you must, do not change the margin-right rule. its set to one, giving you a lot more room to adjust your video if you must. other than that, you should be good. biggrin If not, I do not mind at all to hop back on your account and editing again! :3 Also, don't be so hard on yourself. At first, I wasn't so great at CSS at first, but after practicing and applying, i've gotten better.

Ah. Yes. We must be talking about a positional concern. on my end, your video is right where you want it. If I resize my window smaller, the video flies all the way to the bottom left. A couple things we can consider. One: move the media to the first or second column and resize it accordingly (like i have mine set up) Two: downsize your player bit by bit until it stays where you want it. Three: let me research CSS positioning and see if gaia will allow me to set a static position for the player (fearing that i won't be pretty). Also, you are not a bother. None at all. I'm happy to help out!

perchance the column the media is in needs to be expanded. If I remember correctly, the current gaia profiles have three columns, and your video is in the third. So the following code should expand the third column:

#column_3 {margin-right: 45px; width: 490px; }

You can put this on the very top of your CSS, and as always, you can adjust the values to your liking. Let me know if this help!

Hmm. Possibly a rule(s) is interfering with it. I want to suggest taking the same code I showed you, put it at the very top, and add !important at the end of each rule. So insert this:

.media_panel object, .media_panel embed {width: 650px !important; height: 520px !important; }

Remember to remove the old media set of code from the CSS. Hoping this help!

Thanks for your gift GrandpaJones. Try adding this line into your profile CSS code:

.media_panel object, .media_panel embed {width: 450px; height:320px;}

That should control the size of the media module, and just increase/decrease the values to your liking. As for the video to automatically play... (assuming a youtube video)
For argument sake, lets say you want to embed Men Without Hats' Safety Dance onto your profile that automatically plays. First you would need the URL (found in address bar) to the video, which in this case is

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nM4okRvCg2g

Next we have to tweak it to gaiaonline's preferred format which would be removing the

watch?v=

and then adding

v/

(the letter "v" for video and a forward slash) right after the first forward slash after .com. So now your new URL should look like this

https://www.youtube.com/v/nM4okRvCg2g

Last, to get the player to play automatically, simply add in

?autoplay=1

at the end with no space. so your final URL to paste into your media module on your profile should look like this.

https://www.youtube.com/v/nM4okRvCg2g?autoplay=1

Helpful to know that in your entire URL, there should be no SPACES. so its all ONE WORD in a sense.
