Former leader of the VOLTS, once known as Raitei, the Lightning Emperor; Ginji Amano was the sovereign leader of Lower Town. While he ran the VOLTS, peace was present over the Lower Town area, as he and his four kings defeated enemy after enemy who came from the Beltline.

Ginji's life took a drastic change the moment he met Ban Mido. The two had a fight that is still infamous in the history of the Limitless Fortress. The stories say that Ginji Amano lost to the master of the Snake Bite, and thus had to leave the Limitless Fortress.

His former gang members, once thought to have been forsaken, began to return to Ginji's life again, and one by one, he won them back over. During times when Ginji is pushed to his limit, he threatens to fall back into the persona that is Raitei. If this occurs, Ginji Amano would cease to exist forever. His partner in the GetBackers recovery service, Ban Mido, is the one thing that seems to constantly stand between himself and oblivion.

Ginji wouldn't have it any other way.

With that he took off, although a bit disappointed the leader couldn't believe in Juubei. Kazuki would keep it to himself though, and go out on his search.
