Hello! I'm the Father, a Time Lord from the planet Galliferry.I've been told there's a chap running around who calls himself the Doctor and looks just like me. How very odd. I assume he must be from some bizzare alternate universe. It's been known to happen.
I travel through time and space in a ship called a TARDIS. That's Time And Relative Dimension In Space. It used to be able to disguise itself as anything, but the chameleon circuit broke, so it's stuck in the shape of a confessional. It's bigger on the inside than on the outside.
Sometimes I travel with a friend. I'm on my own right now, but I used to travle with Sister Rose, bless her soul. *makes the Sign of the Cross* I wish her well.
