I'm a tomboy who's slowly becoming more female thanks to anime.... It's really weird and I don't understand how it's happening, but it is. I'm so hideous there's not even a word for it. 'Though I'm told I have pretty eyes (that change color) and very petite hands............. *shoves hands in pockets*
I LOVE DRESSING UP! I'm not rich so my best friend is the thrift store (yeah, I said it, THRIFT STORE!) There's so many fun clothes there.
I love singing... practically anything that allows me to let out my vocals. And yes, that means all the crap that you people probably don't like.... And I like singing along with Disney movies.
I generally like listening to Rock, Country-Rock, J-Pop, J-Rock, Metal, and Classical. I really don't seem like the person to like the stuff that I do.
I'm sensitive too.... Like uber sensitive (he he.... uber....). My nose hurts when any kind of chemicals are sprayed, and I'm talking about like, I'll be in my room and someone'll spray something for cleaning clear on the other side of the house and I'll gag like frickin' crazy.
Ever heard the frequency noise from a t.v.? Imagine what you hear (if you do hear it) and multiply that by like 15. During school I had to leave classrooms during movies because I couldn't stand the sound and it made me cry and go into small fits of hysteria.
I bruise easily, 'nough said.
I can't go outside, even during a gray day, without squinting because it's too bright.
It's ALWAYS hot..... 45'F is borderline warm/hot to me......
MANGA! MANGA! MANGA! Last time I counted my manga I had a little over 200.(I've sold quite a few so I'm not sure how much I have now) I'm a yaoi fan (what manga chick isn't...). The first manga that I ever bought was Gravitation by Maki Murakami *bows to my shrine*. The first porn-ish manga I ever bought was Sensual Phrase by Mayu Shinjo. Fruits Basket (Furuba) by Natsuki Takaya is by far the cutest manga I've ever layed my eyes on. Now, the anime to the three manga mentioned SUCK!! Sensual Phrase, known as Kaikan Phrase for the anime, was probably the best. It had more of a plot than the others. Gravitation was funny at times, but the music is the best of the three. Fruits Basket anime, sorry to say, was boring. The music constantly had me dozing off and the plot was extremely hard to find until the last few episodes. *sighs* Such a disappointment.
Now as for anime, If I've already seen it in English dub and liked it, then I'll refuse to watch it in English sub. I'll primarily only watch anime in Japanese with Eng sub. English voice actors are slightly off with the lip-syncing and don't match their characters voices. I do praise one English (or should I say Canadian) voice actor, David Kaye. Don't know who he is? He is the Great Demon Lord of the Western Lands. All Hail Sesshoumaru-sama! His voice makes me melt. Melt, not wet! My favorite Japanese voice actor is Midorikawa Hikaru. He's the one who plays the loveable Sora Hashiba from Sukisyo/Sukisho, Sukinamono wa Suki Dakara Shouganai!!
I like creating characters. I don't necessarily make stories with them. I'll design the character, come up with a background and eventually pair them up with a previous character depending on the other's info.
